Hey guys,
im following this thread quite a while but never participated.
I would like to share an answer from L&P to my concerns about the current situation.

Probably he needs to change the pills.
Even if somehow he menage to fasten the development by 50%,
that still means 17-18 more years until the completion of the game.
In order to finish the game in less than 10 years,he should start releasing 2 full days per year.

The only way I can see a Steam launch is to launch DOL on Steam. L&P's love of the shota boys means that they CANNOT be part of any Steam release. I also think he would get review bombed if he tried. He's burned too many bridges with former Patreons and anyone who asks hard questions on Patreon. Steam does not let him control the narrative - so those reviews will tell the truth and put a serious damper on his cash grab.

How many weeks/months will it take to 'get ready' for Steam, if he actually tries to go that route?
