How do I get mom's quest 3 done pls been stuck on for 2 hours now! I can't remember exactly what this is, but IIRC it has something to do with your sister's stages. Proceed with sister's stuff for a while and the mom stuff will free up.

There's a lot of that in this game: you can't proceed with Character X until you first proceed with Character Y or do Thing Z. There's an app on the phone that gives good instructions for each character's progress.
