It always amuses me how people that like NTR think that people that don't are afraid of something. Players that hate NTR are real men that are capable of taking care of their on lady's needs. If anyone is so in love with Eric, maybe look for a game with GAY tag. No offence to people that like NTR, but hatred to ones that don't is ridiculous.

Maybe because people don't like NTR. However, if the developer is creative to create two great paths for this character. Eric and Max being enemies and being at war or both being friends. Max can get benefits from Eric for being his friend, Eric can take him to the Strip Club, teaches you about the night world, women, giving Max influence at home and etc. However, you will have to allow Eric to fuck Alice and Lisa. Now, the non-NTR way is better for me. Because you'll see Max corrupting his entire family, starting with Lisa, then Alice and Ann with Kira's help. I hope that in this way more events arise, bringing new characters is essential and creating scripts and stories for him would give a new atmosphere in the game. Pretty sure that NTR route will end way sooner than no-Eric route.
After all he will get his content pretty early,way faster than Max.

I'm with you on this. Still wonder how a Eric/no Eric route would work. I think it would result in alternating updates=slow update.
You're not "forced" to do anything. If you don't want to see those scenes, don't watch them. Simple as that.
Also, Eric is needed for the story. As bad a writer DS is, he did get that part right (and no, I'm not talking about the NTR). All Max does is peep on his sisters and mother. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. It isn't until Eric shows up and the rest of the family falls in love with him that Max realises he has to step up his game. Eric pulls Max out of his comfort zone and motivates him to do more and be more agressive.
Uh, no, those guys are like the macho guys who are so "secure" in the masculinity they think guys who dress up as women are queer, while real men have no problem dressing up as a woman because they know it doesn't change their sexuality (see Tom Holland in his Lip Sync Battle). Players that hate NTR are the ones who are afraid they could lose their women to someone else. Real men capable of taking care of their lady's needs don't care about it, because they know it'll never happen to them (or will be the ones doing the NTR).

I said "forced" with " because if you want to see a sex scene in the game that's the only way right now, for the MC to start having some kind of sex it's still a long way from now, so if you want to fap with this game, right now you are "forced" to see a NTR scene.
What Max needed was a way to make him wake up, to make him realice that he could lose the girls, his family, if he does nothing. Was then needed to bring Eric to make that happen? Not really, there could have been another ways, maybe even subtle things like they are thinking of starting to date, or are already planning a date with someone. Was it needed to bring Eric home and start fucking Ann and trying to fuck them all to wake up Max?? Again, no, it was the easier way. Like in those stories were the mc is really in love with her childhood friend but he didn't realise it until she stars dating someone else. That's the easy way.
Would cause the same wake up call in Max if Ann started dating Eric, brought him home once so we know him, but she decides to go slow with him, instead of almost living together since they start dating? Yes it will. I'm not a writer but all Max needed was a wake up call, it could have been done way better than having Eric trying to steal all the LI of the MC and succeding almost instantly with the mother. Let's not forget that this is suposed to be an incest game, but since Eric is the focus it really isn't one. It was a mistake in the original, introducing him without a way to stop him before he starts getting serious with anyone, including the mom, and it's a mistake again here. He is one of the most hated characters for a reason.
Players that hate NTR aren't afraid they would lose their women, well at least I'm not, I just don't like to see NTR in games, I tend to SI in the MC so I could enjoy a game more and I don't want to see the LI of the game being with others, that isn't a fetish I like, I don't like NTR or sharing of any kind, hell I don't even like when some girl members of the harem of the MC in an harem game go and have sex between each others if I don't have a say in it. So why would I want to see in an "incest" game some kind of NTR? I don't play to see things I don't like, it has nothing to do with real life, I play games to have a good time, having NTR in an incest game withot having a way to prevent it, it's not fun. More when the dev even said he doesn't like Eric at all, but still goes and do lots of content with him.
He could have looked for a better way, another way to make the wake up call on Max, just with an option to stop Ann from having a relationship with Eric if you didn't want to see him, or let it happen if you want to see NTR, there wouldn't be a problem. Max would get his wake up call, in a sense that they won't stop looking for someone outside the home to date if he doesn't step up his game, adn all the NTR lovers will get his loved Eric. There all people happy. But I guess that calling this "another story" was just a name, it's easier to follow a bad developed plot and game and only change a few things, than actually do "another story".
That's not usually a good idea in this kind of games, the updates will be really different (not to talk about the long delay within updates), because in NTR path update Eric will be fucking someone in every update, maybe more than one at the same time, while in the non NTR path update Max would be lucky to maybe get a kiss or a hug. That's the way the content in the game is right now, so if that's really the plan of the game I don't see this game having sexual content with Max soon. Because when we could kick Eric and try to pursuit the girls, it will be the same as always, the girls being fine with being sluts or fucking the NTR guy nº1 in seconds but then when the MC tries they become as prude as a nun. Like what happens in the game culture shock, where the mother in the NTR path is a slut but in the non NTR is a prude. Hope it doesn't happens here and that if Ann is as easy to get as she was for Eric, she will be the same way whith Max when we kick Eric out of the house. There's a thing called character consistency after all.

How can a guy who's in the game for not even a fourth of the week the focus? You're really reaching for the Eric hate here, buddy. I get you don't like the NTR factor, but you're not forced to look at it. I was able to play the first BB without problem and only noticed Eric when that whole wallet thing came up. Nearly forgot he was there to begin with (which shows what a non-factor he really was). If you really want to fap to games, find some that are further in development, because not a lot of games so early in development will have fappable material.
When in a porn game, all the sexual scenes are with one character, in this case Eric, he is being the focus of the update and the game, again this is a porn game, at then end of the day you can make plenty of updates where Max go and do chores but if he doesn't have sex, but Eric is having sex in an easier way, then Eric became the focus of the porn not the mc.
You know that your last point become nule when there is sex scenes in a game that is early in development. In this one you have sex scenes with Eric, even animated ones, so your point doesn't really makes sense. Your last line is just the dev being lazy, if he can make ntr sex scenes that early, he can do normal ones. Hell look at the game WVM, it has sex scenes with the MC since the first update, and they makes sense, so it isn't imposible to do them, it's just that is way easier to make NTR sex scenes, because you just have to make the woman characters submisive dumb sluts and then you can do any scene you want to do, without reasons needed.
Things are already moving that fast with Eric, hell you got a preview of the next update and it's a sex scene with Eric and Ann, while Max gets a hug...If you still think that in a few more updates centered around Eric and Ntr he won't be having sex with at least one of the sisters, you are way too naive.
Also the most cliche comment of the day goes to you, congratz. It is a porn game, it doesn't happen in the real world, same as in the real world a mother won't be bringuing his new boyfriend home and is planning to live with him and even marry him after just dating a day, if you think any normal person would bring his/her new lover home with their kids after start dating, then in what kind of world do you live?
There is a thing in games/stories/books that is called character consistency, if a character acts in a way during all the story, it should act the same way when something happens. In porn games, if a character is a slut, then it can't become a prude when she lose her boyfriend, that's bad writing. If a character acts as a prude all the time, it can't become a slut in a day.
So if Ann is a woman easy as fuck, she shouldn't mind who is the one attached to the cock she is fucking, all it takes is just some little work from the one interested and there you go, she will open her legs.
Again is a porn game, not real life. Saying that a mom in an incest PORN game, and a very easy one to get, won't jump to her son when she loses her boyfrind because it won't happen in real life, it's dumb. I will say it again, Ann is easy as fuck for Eric to get with, so it shouldn't be hard for Max to get her when Eric isn't there. She brought her new lover home, let him stay and order around just after starting dating, in what world that happens?
