Project:
- Bidomon (working title)
Bidomon is a game that sees the player venture out into the world to tame wild anthropomorphized monsters and train them up to become stronger. The game will have a focus on sexual content between the player and the monster girls they tame, called Bidomon (Libido Monster). The core gameplay flow can be likened to Pokemon with sexual content.
Primary Inspirations Include; Pokemon, Monster Girl Quest, Crimson Keep
Secondary Inspirations Include; Kamidori Alchemy Meister, Evenicle 1 & 2
I have already spent a year off and on creating a the code base, a design doc, and an extremely rough prototype to create a strong foundation to build upon.
The finished product is planned for a premium one time purchase (hopefully on Steam).
The game is being built in the Unity Engine.
Developer:
- Currently just myself (Kurjen)
I graduated a few years back with a degree in Game Design (arts degree, coding was not a focus, but I got basic/intermediate knowledge). Worked for a few years on contract in the games industry. I have a passion to create games and figured that I may as well make what I want while I'm not beholden to any employers.

Looking for:
- 2D Artist -- Monster Girls
Someone excited to create original monster girl designs. I believe there's room to lean on classic monster girls (cat girls, lamias, bee girls etc.). All characters should be original, meaning that this project is NOT interested in creating sexualized versions of actual Pokemon.
- 2D Artist / Pixel Artist -- Environment
Someone to create art for the world. This would entail tile maps for various environments (grassy / forest / snowy / sandy).
If needed, I don't mind buying assets to fulfill this, but would prefer original creations and another creative to work alongside.
- Writer / World Builder
Someone to help share the load when it comes to building out the world, writing lore, and/or writing character dialogue & sex scenes. These are all aspects that I enjoy but are; 1) A lot to handle solo while wearing many other hats on the project, and 2) I am by no means an expert in.
These are also very important to get right as they pertain to integration with game mechanics (ludo-narrative fit baby).
Employment Type:
- Revenue Share (even split)
Having previous game development experience, I have realistic expectations that this project will take years to complete. I am entering this with zero funding as a passion project that I believe should exist and am looking to collaborate with others who feel similarly.
I do have a Patreon set up to help fund the project. I plan on evenly splitting proceeds from this as well as revenue from the final product with any team members with significant contributions.
Work commitment:
- Long Term: Flexible Schedule
Having worked on multiple shipped titles as well as many student projects, I realize the amount of work that goes into creating fully polished game. I fully expect this project to take years to complete and am looking for others who are ready for a long term commitment.
That said, I also am not looking to hold any strict deadlines. However, I expect team members to act professionally and be communicative.
Preferred method of contact:
- Either message me here or on Discord
Job Description:
- Summarizing
Creative individuals looking to collaborate on making a high quality Monster Girl Creature Collecting game.
It will take a lot of work to get this project to the finish line, meaning a long term time investment.
Additional comments:
It's going to be a long journey, but the project will never have as much creative flexibility as it does RIGHT NOW. This early in development is when it is easiest to make changes and test things.
I expect that interest in the project and the Patreon won't really take off until we've completed a vertical slice. By this I mean a small playable portion of the game that is polished to near final expectation. I've never been a producer, project lead, or community manager so maybe this isn't a correct assumption.
I've included a few screencaps of the work put in so far to help showcase the current state of the Project.
Thanks for reading,
