Well, the female MC is a beauty , that's for sure. And it's not AI art, which is another plus point. But it's only in demo version with no sex content for her yet. Might try this one out several updates later as long as the VN isn't lesbian or futa oriented

I was just thinking to myself "I do so hope these guys release a third game, the less completed games the better"
The plan with this game, is to utilise my other PC whilst I'm working on finishing "Jessica's Choices - Origins"

And come on, as long as it's not too complicated it might be easier to follow. If it helps, I wrote this story about two years ago right around the time i was working on "Series of Events" so it was written with an AVN in mind.

Mystery is good, but context is key.
The player/reader doesn't need to know everything, but we need to know enough to follow along with what is happening.

Sometimes there are stories - like the Bourne Identity - where the character and reader are figuring out things together.
However, when the character knows things and the reader doesn't it's a bit rude - unless there's a reason that the reader shouldn't know (and then the reader should know why they shouldn't know - ex. the character is clearly established as not speaking to anyone about that, or lies to themself about it, or has memory loss or trauma that they don't really know themselves, etc.) There are many reasons why the audience avatar and player character shouldn't know things, but when they just don't know anything at all... well, that's not good.


Always be willing to turn the story around on yourself. If you were the reader/player/etc and didn't know all the things you know because you're writing it, what would you think (&/or think you know) from what made it to the final page/render. You don't want players to be in the dark, but on the other extreme you don't want to be like HBO's GoT and not give viewers what you expressly told them to expect.

Just my opinion, hopefully this is constructive criticism, ymmv, etc.

well tbh you usually need someone to actually utilize this other PC^^

Sounless you can clone yourself and work onboth at the same time this argument is pretty weak^^

Not sure if you have ever used DAZ before, but sometimes there is a lot of downtime, so when one is going, I'll have the other going. Sorry if this disappoints you. I can take a picture of myself working on both if that would prove it?

Unless of course you are offering yourself to work on one of my many stories?

I'd like to report an error... as Kate steps inside the club, the screen defaults back to the Main Menu ;)

Played the updated version, no bug.

Neither Jessica game is completed. Why start another game? Is the dev loaded in time and loaded in money to where they can easily keep 3 games going regularly? Or is this gonna end up like so many other games where the dev starts shortening updates, and/or moving those updates further apart with more months in between each? And, yes, I've read the previous explanation about DAZ downtime lol. I just know the way it normally goes with other devs, and I think the Jessica games are pretty good, and this one likely could be as well, and would hate to see good games suffer due to spreading time thin, or possibly causing burn out.

You are right to call those out. Jessica’s Choices - Origins is on it's last release (due out very soon) with the brand new UI.

Certainly not loaded in money (I wish) but this game enables me to open a Patreon account again (awaiting review) and open to a wider community (sad angry faces that loiter around the Jessica’s Choices series)

As for "Series of Events" - that is going to sit on the back burner for a bit, it needs a full overhaul.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be obtuse or anything. Perhaps, knowing that I wrote City of Secrets with the preamble of it being an AVN might help? The most time i spend is trying to get my previous written work for Jessica Choices into AVN form.

Saying all this, and I feel like I should also point out that this is a an initial demo and depends on what support looks like, or interest in the game looks. It could end up just being a passion project for me to complete if no one is interested.
