Back in my thread explorer days when I was still a young champ. Going through these pages for the fuckery and funsies. I saw quite a bit of Arona slander going on. I thought I was going to absolutely hate her whenever I finally got around to meeting her. But man I actually really grew to like her. Maybe folks were talking about the dom version or some type of update to how she was written
Granted I'll admit she fills one special niche for me. Hardass to everyone else but soft and sweet on you. That shit is my jam.

From what I could gather from the threads Berwyn was dropped as a companion cause the main writer bailed so they just dropped his character...which seems like bs considering quint is still a companion and they were written by bubblelord but I digress

Maybe they're waiting for the brave contributor that will write those extra parts for the less developed companions, and in that way, push for Berwyn to be part of your party once more
Or maybe they just don't want to or don't know what to do with him, I mean life half of your other guys have nothing going on and what they have is meh. Guess we'll know in another five years if they speed up things
He had more content pre-Elf City. He had no responses to any event since then, and he had no combat updates so he was really weak, and noone wanted to work on him.
Every other companion still *theoretically* has content coming. He had nothing coming up.

To add on to what everyone already said, the way B had Berwyn's customization at the end of his quest meant that he had dozens of different variations from whether he had a dick or not, dick size, vagina or not, boobs, what size of boobs, etc. so he became a mess of parsers and code and would've been a eldritch abomination for sex scenes, especially for a team like this.
Also B probably was wanting to wash his hands of Berwyn and just go screw around with his own OCs. The whole situation felt like a lotta work for little actual gain.
You all are missing the main piece of the puzzle.
Removing Berwyn from companions was done as the last "fuck you" towards Hugs.
In a similar vein as cancelling William's Einin when she was 90% done.

WELP! Could've been worse. Could've completely removed Berwyn from the game. And that would've made me very upsetti spaghetti finding it out later. Huh so what would be the difference compared to all other writers who use the MC to interact with their creations? Was his desire just too transparent or its for me and not for thee peasant thing?
Diff topic, is there anythin goin on with the driders or are they "feature complete", last time I spoke to the drider shaman she wanted to go live with the queen but I forgot if there even was more about it or just random lore that leads to nothing.

Yeah, was supposed to be a mouse girl companion, I think. But the author didn't get it submitted in time before the arbitrary deadline for finishing writing for companions.
