Hey guys! Finally making my first ever official game, I guess I'm too excited right now and just want to talk about it to get some general thoughts on how to make it a game that most of you will enjoy.

Our Team:
RPmiester(Me) - Developer, Head writer
Shrub - Second writer, dialogue writing
ITK - Renders
UJ - Coding
Aruby - Voices

Music by Royalty Free Music websites and a few fantasy composers

How I came up with the idea (For anyone who gives a shit):
In my free time I like to write novels. I wrote a completed novel called "Dark Fantasy Godhood" last year and always thought it would be good to make into a game. I am a huge fan of Berserk, Witcher, LOTR, anything dark fantasy.

Story:
The Player (You), are one of the weakest fighters out in the kingdom.
Originally from distant lands, you travel to the land of Kudah; a land known for being home to the famous mountain of power.
The mountain of power is a spiritual place that grants those skilled enough to reach the top with a power that it believes they need.
After a very long and dangerous journey, you reach the mountain to find that you are given Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor.
The hammer binds itself to you making you the new god of thunder, (though you are not aware of this).
After a serious accident in the city of Vigilance, you and your friend Hazel, are branded as outlaws and cast out into the wilderness.
In order to clear your name, you must explore the world of Kudah and gain enough trust from the people so they can help you clear your name.

In game map of West Kudah, this is where Act 1 will take place:

Game Style:
My world has a rich lore and history that I want players to be able to see and immerse themselves in. Due to this, the dialogue style in the game is very much medieval style. Not plain English, straight medieval.
- The game is free roam, nonlinear
- Every single location is important and has a lot of use. There are no false choices or false locations in this game. Every single character you meet, or location you visit is important.
- Fully animated

COMBAT:
The game is combat heavy but we spent a lot of time making the combat as fun as possible.

In the current release there are 10 different monsters that you can encounter and fight.
(Goblin girls, Undead girl, Ghost woman, Giant woman, wolf girl, wicked witch, sexy witches, Bandit girls, noble women, fairies, slime women).
If you manage to beat any of these enemies, you can have your way with them.

Leveling System:
Player can gain xp like an RPG to level your character. When you do so you can choose different paths to specialize in, for example:
You can improve your physical attack strength, your throwing attacks or your godly powers.

Travelling System:
1208(3).gif
The land of Kudah is a dangerous place, I want players to really feel the danger of the world. There is no fast travel. You can't just click a location on the map and travel there instantly. (At least at the start of the game anyway).
When you click on a location on the map, you will see some travelling scenes of your character travelling to the location. Some locations are closer than others meaning less time to travel. However as you travel, there is always a chance that you may encounter some enemies.
As you level up or progress with some quests, you may be lucky enough to get your own horse which speeds up your travel time dramatically. Or you can improve your godly power so that you can just fly to locations.

Cooking System:
1208(4).gif

As this is a dark fantasy medieval world, there is health regen unless you sleep in your bed and potions are very hard to come by. You have the option to cook your own meals in a little cooking minigame we made. Nothing complicated, very simple and straight to the point. The right food is very important for your survival.

Economy:
1208(5).gif
This is a really dark and unforgiving world. The currency is gold coins but gold is very hard to come by. For example, the highest amount of gold you can find around as look is 1 - 3 gold coins. A health potion costs 50 gold.
The best way to get gold aside from boss fights is to take jobs around the kingdom or contacts from villagers.

Planned Features:
Morality system: I was thinking of adding consequences for the player's actions.
Hunger and sleep system: A system to work out whether or not the player is sleepy or hungry. If he is, it should affect his behavior and strength
Maybe a cold and weather system?

Once again, let me know if you think any of these ideas are shit. I don't want us to waste time on things that players wouldn't really enjoy. And I open to any ideas you guys may have or things you want to see.
