Welcome to the Development Thread for Female Rockstar!
After releasing a browser version, we’re thrilled to announce that Female Rockstar is transitioning to Ren'Py! This shift will allow us to bring more immersive storytelling and choice-driven interactions to the experience. Female Rockstar is a visual novel set in early 2000's, focusing on the journey of a young female musician as she faces the challenges of fame, self-discovery, and romance.
About the Story:
In Female Rockstar, you play as an abroad university student with dreams of making it big in the rock music scene. The game follows her as she navigates the ups and downs of her college years, explores the excitement of living abroad, and learns to balance friendships, love, and ambition. With each decision, players will shape her path, relationships, and career, diving into her life as she rises from a passionate amateur to a rockstar.
Current Development Status:
While the original browser version provided a foundation, the move to Ren'Py enables us to enhance both gameplay mechanics and visual storytelling. Female Rockstar primarily features static visuals, placing more emphasis on character development and a compelling narrative rather than complex animations. This focus on story allows players to immerse themselves fully in the protagonist’s experiences and emotional journey.

- Platform Transition: Moving from browser to Ren'Py for a richer, more interactive experience.
- Setting & Story: A coming-of-age tale set in 2008, with elements of music, romance, and drama.
- Decision-Driven Plot: Your choices determine the protagonist's relationships, career, and personal growth.
