I've been playing around with some nesdev stuff and it's pretty cool.
So, I started a project written in assembly for fun.
I don't have an exact plan in mind but I was thinking of making a metroidvania style game.
I was thinking the player would have to avoid enemies and be limited to setting traps instead of attacking enemies.
I was also thinking of some way to add scarce resources or something so there was more of a goal of being conservative and to avoid attacking enemies.
I'm not 100% whether I will make the game NSFW. I was considering a leisure suit larry style of censored and uncensored scenes.
I'm not that far along in the project and I expect it will take quite a bit of time but I've got the some of the basic controls and level stuff implemented.
I've attached a .nes file.
There are some known bugs, for example: buggy collision and the centipede acts weird when off screen.
