So far I found you can only change the cards appearence by making a "Save New".
After arranging your new card say "save" and by closing the creator "Save and Exit" - so you should get 2 new cards, one with the existing status of the character, one with resetted status to zero.

But I´m not really sure so anyway keep a backup of your card in a save location before starting your rework.

You don't need them if you don't use the studio, they go in the Mods folder.

The same mod is used in both, well, different versions of the same mod. It is called Uncensor Selector and is already installed. It should already be working.

You can do this by going through the same process needed to make the card image of a new card, it should allow you to save to the existing card as long as the card is not assigned to a group in game, but this is likely to erase play data gained from using the card in game. Also, if the card is assigned to a group, you MUST save to a new card as saving to the current card is locked to avoid play data corruption.

If you EDIT a card from within the Groups preview window (Personality is LOCKED):
a) all cards: save new - BLANK char status
b) all cards: overwrite any other unregistered card with a new thumbnail or keep same - BLANK char status
c) unregistered cards: overwrite the same card with a new thumbnail or keep same - BLANK char status
d) all cards: save and exit - KEEP char status (and can't change the thumbnail)

If you load and edit a card from the CREATE option in Game or Maker (Personality is EDITABLE):
a) all cards: save new - BLANK char status
b) all cards: overwrite any other unregistered card with a NEW thumbnail - BLANK char status
c) all cards: overwrite any other unregistered card and KEEP its thumbnail - TRANSFER char status
d) unregistered cards: overwrite the same card with a NEW thumbnail - BLANK char status
e) unregistered cards: overwrite the same card and KEEP its thumbnail - KEEP char status
f) all cards: exit - there is no SAVE & EXIT option

So TL;DR: If you made changes to a registered character and want to update the thumbnail,
1. save a new version with the new thumbnail
2a. then either overwrite the new card with the original, keeping the new thumbnail image
OR 2b. load the new card and then (on the load menu) only transfer the CHARACTER data from the original
3a. unregister the original from the group and register the new version
OR 3b. switch the card png file names in the CHARA folder while the game isn't running.

I felt it was worth to actually write it out in detail,
since most people don't realize the subtle differences in save options. ;)

Thanks guysss, I've updated my Better repack to R9, and KK Manager of V0.19, and that prompt happened before and after i've updated it, but yeah still hasnt changed

If you mean HS2 you have 2 options to download:

a) torrent download in one zip-file ~ 50GB for the game

I see thanks. Is the mods etc that valuable? 130 GB is huge. Also do i need the mod for uncensor? Btw why question mark like that, its condecending, not cool mate. Was stating the steam part 1, 2, 3. Ty eitherway.

Ok - Steam is another construction site.
You have to strictly differentiate between the original game (included in the BetterRepack from ScrewThisNoise) and the new Steam version.

What I described above is how to get the original japanese game version, since BetterRepack R9b with the Steam translation.

From MEGA for example here

If you want to get an equivalent to the original BetterRepack you need SB2 Full Edition ~ 40GB. To download from MEGA in 12 splitted packs.
As described u only need 1 of these 3 options. But if you want to use all the community mods u need SB2 Full.
This is recommended to use newer character cards without "missing mod" troubles.

Can anyone help? I keep getting 14 fps making the game unplayable. It starts lagging when character models are involved only

Specs: Rtx 3080, ryzen 5800x, 64 gb of ddr5 and 2 TB NVME

Another option (which I use to use) is to grab the map of any scene you like, just deleting all the other things and saving the map as a scene for yourself

I'm new to the whole studio thing and never knew you could create your own maps easily with the prefabs and other small things through the Items tab, thank you for the info and the preview images you provided.

I always recommend torrent download, it´s the easier way.

Best unpacker for this game is 7-Zip. If extracting errors happens the downloaded file might be corrupted and you have to download again.

Always place the game main folder on top of the drive and avoid unnecessary subfolders.
Start via InitSetting.exe.

The core game functions didn´t improve really, but some base mods were updated and you need these to use newer community mods. Also newest mods are included in the Repack, you need these to use most newest character cards without troubles.

umm hi. Im kinda new to this kind of game/studio stuff. If I download that 136 gb file, would that be enough for me to create my characters, story, pictures and stuff?
