In Finite Space is a furry visual novel that explores the invasion of a deadly foe, and those that rise up to combat them.
Join the ranks of the illustrious Knights of the Asterism Union, as a Squire in training for the Cavalry division. The first engagers to incursions and the most respected, but also those that suffer the heaviest losses.
Learn, train, and grow with your fellow Squires and discover what it means to love, to heal and to form bonds.
This novel will show military training, sexual themes with a variety of genders and alien furry races, and deal with trauma and recovery. We hope to show a story that breaks a few FVN traditions and give people a story that, while linear, offers choices to engage in 'stress relief' with any and all of the main cast. You choose if you want to take part. Choose those you want to, or don't want to, and be happy by the end that you played this VN your way.​

Even though it feels more like a kinetic novel - as the player gets a character with established history (think more of Geralt of Rivia than a Warden from Dragon Age).

For an intro to a possible world - it has good art & sound. And hopefully more player autonomy in the future chapters.

Well the creator did say it was a linear VN. Plus sometimes keeping the story linear works out better than having to many routes.

Anyway, played through the game and honestly, I can understand Brut and Fen annoyance toward MC to an extend.
MC is just a squire, a newly brand one.
But he is ahead of himself, always mentioning how he will be out saving the world and etc. Going against his own knight, lashing out on him, and even making demand. If this game is a reality and how a knight and a squire relationship is back then, he will not just be dismissed but humiliated as well for his bad attitude.
Yea, we got it, you have sobs story, you lost your mom during the war, and stuff but that doesn't excuse your poor attitude in professional workplace like the army where attitude is important.
