Just want to drop by and share some insignificant info for newbies. If use saber (high quality sword), better learn to perfect block (to create opening where you can swing your slow shiny saber) else you gonna get Lona stunlocked to death by opponents with higher attack rate. Short sword (default) is miles better in term of raw dps when Lona go all ATK due to higher attack rate.

and also this
OR hide behind a shield and plink plink plink, thats how i beat Big Mama :ROFLMAO:

Honestly I'm really much more of a fan of raw dogging the game (No pun intended) and like really just get fucked ten times over when I fuck up (No pun intended).

Also the stat buffs from RolePlayS seem a little too strong for me... how do I just make the stats go to like, default... and I feel like I'd be too strong if I get EXP from killing mobs (I read it in the wikipage that you get EXP for killing mobs). So like, I was thinking if I could turn that off?

I mean, I really like that there'd be some feature additions with that mod but I'm just gonna be more on like, "Ooo I can do that" and shit
NEVER be surrounded by enemies, thats an easy way to die. backstabs can stun, so sneak and bonk-kai, throw stones to distract
think of skyrim sneaking mechanics

always find chokeholds for enemies to funnel thru and hope they soemtimes friendly fire each other, yes friendly fire can cause enemies to attack each other. that applies to allies and companions as well.
watch your HP/Hunger bar, but entering a fight with LOW stamina? thats a death sentence.

dont be afraid to save scum when your learning the ropes
dont be afraid to run away, unless escort quests
dont be gotta go fast in caves, lotsa traps that can arrow to da knee . and in a game where movement speed is king, you cant afford to be snail

pick of enemies in small groups; 1 v 1 or 1 v 2
end game enemies have upwards of 500++ hp. when they die, they can spawn in more critters.
true they die in 1 hit, but when 10++ mobs are beating you, idk if that really matters
being captured can lead to a looping spiral, as they will steal your gear into chests that are well guarded. and all you got are fists, not even a loin cloth for +1 def :ROFLMAO:

you can drop junk items by,
selecting with Z > spacebar
dropping your lantern creates a light source on the ground. you can pick it up later. something nice to have

in the base game, when you level up. only 1 trait/skill point is given
so at level 99 you have about 99 skill points to use, you use skill points to add stats/get skills.

at certain level, skill get unlocked. so its not like you can have all skills at level 1
so limiting level progression isnt a good idea
and getting certain skills locks out other skills, good idea to save before applying skill points

like equipping saber a high quality weapon needs level 15 and locks out the magic tree and the priest healing tree

you get exp from killing/ disarming traps/ XXX rated stuff/ turning in quests/ rescuing dungeon victims

Optional to tweak the victims move speed, as they move at half speed originally

Rescue victims farming, once you get the gist of it is the peak of gold and exp farm. Not recommended right away due to many factors, one of which is This will render you blind and bald irl unless you gamerchair to the max.

More to a point, anything that costs stamina will give you exp - just rapid cancelling a skill (quickly draining STA) will grind exp. Has less impact for mid-levels and beyond, but it can be helpful early game as long as a player is smart about it (like draining sta/food before sleeping at the inn).

Casual reminder that Cheat Menu should be at the bottom of the mods list.

Only mods that depend on it should be below it (at this stage, there are none to my knowledge)

It is better to change the mechanics of rescuing victims, because it is still a burden.
It is supposed to be a burden because it is greatly rewarded (EXP + Gold). Clear out a whole den before reinforcements come and CTRL + ALT + SHIFT. Most dens hold a great number of raw food that Lona can scavenge so food and stamina is not a problem. Traps is.

Yesi download it from there
I also had that type of problem where the game still wouldn't work on my phone even after putting the patches.json and configuration.json inside the game folder. The way I resolve it is to disconnect and then reconnect my phone account. Try it to see if it works.

Also... Should I download the Joiplay version and this plugin as well? Because the version in this link seems to be an older version than mine.
I'm not sure. My Joiplay version is 1.20.580 while the RPG Maker Plugin version is 1.21.31, and the latest version of LonaRPG works there. Though I didn't download the joiplay version that I quoted for you there. I just took the PC version and copied these configuration and patches inside the game folder.

i was really liking this game and trying to get back. My last version was 0.8.6.1, it was like 2years ago iirc?. What version should i download first in order to move the save files? Can i immediately go to 0.9.8 or should i have every version up to 0.8.6.1? I really don't want to fresh restart, i made so much progress. Thank you!

You can probably still play that old save on the recent version of the game. However there's definitely bound to be some fatal error so you gotta rebirth through that save to make it fully compatible with the current version.

i played this years ago, really liked the art style & tone of the game, however i tend to play adult games more for the role-playing and lewdness, and found this game very orientated around combat & similar mechanics. is it still the same?

i remember enjoying the dancing content in that pub, prostitution in the nearby alleys area, that sort of thing. is there more like that? or is it more like the fighting against goblins/skellingtons that i also remember from the early game
