Seeking Looking for games similar to Umineko / Higurashi

I've read both to completion and am eagerly awaiting for Ciconia to come out fully.
So in the meantime, I'm looking for similar games.

Do you have any suggestions?

For something similar to Higurashi, I would suggest Raging Loop. For something similar to Umineko, I would suggest The House in Fata Morgana.

Ace Attorney for something similar to Umineko, in fact if I'm not mistaken Ryukishi himself said that he was playing those games while working on Episode 1.

Can't really think of anything similar but have you played the Higurashi console arcs? If not they're great so there you go. Should help with that Higurashi void a bit. Also MG released their Rei translation so that's another arc right there.

Wouldn´t say it´s really similar (in themes it bears some little semblance to Higurashi), however Saya no uta is the greatest psychological horror novel of all time in my opinion.

Saya no Uta? Come on, they're absolutely nothing alike, for the mystery aspect I'd recommend G-Senjou no Maou but it's not a particularly difficult mystery. It's more of a thriller/romance story.
