Ren'Py Programmer cost

I am considering hiring a programmer to help me code in a future project (and by helping I mean doing all the coding, while I do the writing/sound and an artist does the art)

How much would be an honest price to pay for someone that can code in renpy (It should not be anything complicated, a visual novel with simple 2/3 frames animations for the sex scenes and the usual sprites for dialogues).

I dont know if there's a "fair" price in freelancing, there's varied budgets, hourly rates and skills

Have you tried the https://thef95zone.info/forums/recruitment-services.117/ subforum? there's often programmer types posting that they'd like to help on a game for free (at least initially). The lure of wanting to be involved in a game is strong, but art / writing skills are not so common as programmer skills.

You'll always have to deal with a higher degree of flakiness for "volunteers" to some degree, but paying someone doesn't completely prevent that either.

I can, kinda. But I am so busy I was wondering if I should hire a professional. I believe he could in one hour what I do in a week.
