I would disagree. I don't think a pure spawn can become a Dual Spawn. You're probably either born that way or aren't, She would've probably went further along the path as the Body's new chosen tho. I also believe she would've learned how to incarnate as well, but she seemed to have messed that up. Now all she can do, in my opinion, is align herself to someone with superior power potential than herself as a fallen Chosen such as Jake, MC, Alice, Micheal, Evander, or Devana,

If memory serves right, Memory prefers Dual Spawn, but doesn't mind Pure Spawn. If memory serves right, Body prefers Pure Spawn, but doesn't mind Dual Spawn. All other apostles would kill you immediately if I remember correctly.

Ella is now destined to be another Chosen's or superior than Chosen ally. She's lost self determination power due to not being able to incarnate like Syla. She probably never would have anyway.

She shows that she completely disregards any opinions or duties others place on her period. During her last evolution, she's shown telling either the 3rd or 4th or both, "No. I don't listen to you. You don't tell me what to do." What apostle would make her disobedient ass their Chosen?

They want the reverence that Indra or Valrav'n have towards their lords. The two most reverent are also seemingly the two most powerful Chosen at full power. Correlation or causation. I think both!

Like with any rational god, obedience means being given more power. Disobedience means less power. Ella just doesn't care and think she can align with or create something even more powerful than her progenitors. Maybe, she can! Maybe she can't! We'll see.
Yes, but its important to note that I asserted this trial came directly from the Apostles, which I believe would have the ability to at least slightly manipulate the potential of their spawn, considering their powers come from them in the first place. Ella was already presently showing incredible potential with Body and was otherwise an incredible candidate for Memory's plans, hence why Memory might have been willing to leave a finger on the scale so to speak.

Memory clearly seems to be playing the long game, and you can see that Memory, despite Ella's failure, doesn't seem to have been as agitated as you would think from someone who got set back. She says "good for breeding", as though she doesn't really care about Ella's disobedience and more so about the potential avenues that she can still take advantage of through her. I also strongly disbelieve that Ella is capable of outwitting Memory. I do believe she isn't as willing to be blindly subservient to her, but I feel it remains within the bounds of Memory's plans for her.

I personally don't hate Ella, quite the opposite really, i mean, she is an asshole but a very interesting one, but man, I seriously hope we come to see her truly scared/out her cool on the main story, as I said, I love her but see characters that are as secure of themselves out their terrain is one of those things I just need to see at least once.

There is of course the 'Too strong, too soon ending', on which the Lord of Dark(7th Apostle) appear out of nowhere, no-diffs Memory Apostle and make Ella pretty much fall in desperation, but that's a Dead End, I need to see it on main story.

Talking about that, i wouldn't let pass the opportunity to wank my man Zack, remember he managed to take alive all his squad from an encounter with the Lord of Dark on the very same level in which Ella just stand there mumbling in horror.
In the main story, she showed a decent amount of fear when Malik destroyed all of the Strength Eaters and appeared in front of her. I also think Indra and Full Power Valrav'n would bring the fear out of her. Valrav'n wants her badly and if he gets free, he might as well had promise to track her down when he's back to full power.

I hear what you're saying. I just don't remember there having had ever been a problem proposed that the 3rd or 4th have a problem with Ella's capabilities as a pure spawn, her not being a Dual Spawn or that they wanted to change that. The incomplete trial you reference seems to be a trial for the Body, not Memory so she can achieve her scouter(DBZ) eyes that have been shown to see things no one else have been shown to see such as Laurie's level, monster power, and people's compatibility with specific monster traits. I'm not sure if it was suggested that she was to get anything from Memory, but she's seemed to be getting as a reward all she was gonna get from me from the trial.

She isn't Memory's Chosen unlike Syla. She's Body Chosen. We have no idea how annoyed he is with her because I believe, he's never even be shown to communicate in front of us the audience. Body and Ella probably have a torn relationship because he seemingly raped her during her turning at like 13 or 14. Technically, so does Memory do to MC if she was the one that caught you like me in Bill's Park.

You said, "You also strongly disbelieve that Ella is capable of outwitting Memory." The use of "also" seems to suggest that I believe that as well. I don't know. I don't know memory well so maybe, she can outwit her. We'll see. Memory likely does still find Ella to be useful for some purpose until and if her disobedience proves to more cumbersome than her utility.

I'd like to see a fight between the MC and Elijah. Elijah feels to me like he was designed for a fight scene. He either has a strong positive or strong negative opinion about the MC, making for good dialogue fodder if they come into conflict. His bouncing powers make him resistant to most but not all of the MC's attacks, meaning the MC can win but only if he gets creative. And Elijah was the direct inspiration for Bernhardt and Henri's conversation about superhumans who are "a different breed" being as strong at level 4 as the current generation is at level 5. If the MC beat Elijah at level 4, it would be a good way to foreshadow that the MC is on his way to being as strong as the big three by the end of the story.
That's also what I think, the MC at level 4 is probably gonna be like Malik, Bernhardt and Henri power-wise on the same level, something that add to that idea is how Berni go out his way to say to tje MC 'You are progressing nicely', a compliment like that even if small from a character like him is very telling, but i don't know if it would set a proper record for Elijah, lost his only two important fights would leave him like an absolute bum.

I don't see her beating him in 1v1. I think against Nico, he could save scum spam virtually forever. No one's going to watch a forever fight so it results in no contest and he would just keep his title like you do in the case of no contests.

He's probably fast enough to dodge her portals. He was fast enough to survive suspected encounters with an Avatar of The Lord of Dark and Indra at level four. If memory serves right, at level 4, you can use monster energy to survive without oxygen, food, water, sleep and last but certainly not least, to propel your body, Kira and Elijah are shown to be training this in order to stay stagnant and move in the air. This is before or after their last evolution. He can probably propel his body faster than she can propel her portals in a fashion similar to Ella running away from her portals.

His advantage being over Ella that he can probably predict their paths indefinitely, at least against Nico. So Nico just gonna have get over herself.
If I remember correctly, it was said during Nico and Ella's fight that her portals appear at light speed. Xanthe said that at level 4, assuming their abilities are suitable, a superhuman might be able to break physics and do things like at light speed or above.

That implies a superhuman without a suitable power couldn't do that, and I don't think saving and loading is a suitable power. It might be different for level 5s, but we don't know that for sure.

I also don't think he'll just persist forever. If he just can't win, the opponent would have the ability of their willpower staying constant, while his isn't.

i think ella stood there mumbling in horror because she knows what it is while Zack probably doesn't and Zacks power and his teams are way better suited to escaping that thing then ellas
Ella's eyes back then even probably could estimate just how powerful the 7th's Avatar was like she did with Laurie and knew immediately she was fucked.

Portals aren't light-speed unless Ella can run at light-speed because she surely was dodging those portals left and right in the Deryl Arc. I'm pretty certain that Ella cannot move as fast as Tiffany in her light form. Portals are fast, but not that fast!

In a fight to the death, he wouldn't, What she wants basically is a sparring match with his position on the line. That match would be time limited. No one's going to watch them fight for hours so it would result in a no contest, Zach can save scum against Nico for that long if he was able to do it against the 7th and Indra as suspected.

Nico's probably about to be or already is a Captain. The monsters invasion has probably made it that the Captains are now Admirals on some One Piece shit, and the Lieutenants are now Captains, working with their old units directly for their old Captains. It seems the team pairings were created based on group synergy. They would probably continue that line of strategy even if Lieutenants were promoted to commanding their own units. I wouldn't be surprised if MC ended up being able to become a Captain(or turned down for Micheal instead) , and lead his own H.E.R.O team eventually if he stays with H.E.R.O. It could even be multipathed or polled who we work under: Nyx, Malik, Henry, Lucius, or Zach.

This story still has an extreme amount of thrill potential if WW wants to extract it.

Her portals might appear at light speed, doesn't mean she can "attack" at light speed. Imagine a laser gun - it's bolt of light moves at light speed, but your finger pulling the trigger sure isn't. Your taking aim isn't too. Your brain taking info from eyes, analyzing and putting them to the hand isn't too, and even if it was, the eye would move first, the hand second. This can be observed, and exploited.

She seems to need to raise her hand for her ring to disappear and appear at the target other than herself, so this is a delay that can be exploited. Michael could see the pattern in Leigong firing his powers and move at the right time to dodge a lightning, so with many "redoes" it's likely Zack could learn to dodge her direct portals with great efficiency.

Tbf body is a power that i'd say might be capable of breaking physics in nearly every way. Basically, by changing your body's makeup into something impossible, which should be possible for a level 4, they should be capable of doing physically impossible things.

But then again, she doesn't really need to move at light speed to dodge the portal. IIRC it was said in that fight that Ella improved her reactions to be lightspeed (or close to it, don't remember exactly).

Without Apostle or Eye help, purposeful or accidental, he won't. Or at least I wouldn't write it like that unless WW plans on making everyone who isn't at least an Apostle, Alien God, or a Chosen who can incarnate(Valrav'n, Indra, Glae, Eis, Aos is doubtful) level appear weak. It would ruin H.E.R.O as a potential threat to a corrupt path MC if he caught up to them too quickly. Only threats then would be monster or extrauniversal or extraplanal sourced. Unless he plans on ending the game while MC is still level 4. Hmm...

I recall Ella saying she improved her reactions to lightspeed or something like that though.

Right. I didn't think of that, but they aren't light-speed. I refuse to believe it without evidence. He could totally, "Anderson Silva Highlight Dodge"(youtube it) her portals repeatedly. If Michael can dodge lightning as a regular human, Zach can probably dodge her portals. If he closes the distance, he could probably KO with a simple overhand right.

Was Ella's body that broken? Wouldn't that mean that everyone that's managed to land a strike on her was moving at similar speeds at level four?

Duncan and that lieutenant chick hit her. Granted she was playing around with them so that could've just been her taking it easy.

But that would mean that Nyx, Malik, Clark and Alexis can attack at or near lightspeed. I doubt that all of those people(Alexis the most) can do so. She wasn't even level 5 that long. Lightspeed antics seem to be Light's Chosen, Big Three, and Ancient Chosen level antics at least. Clark is fast as fuck. Clark's faster than Ella certainly and Nico talks about him, like she can beat him. Nico's portals aren't that fast.

I agree. Her future capabilities would've been insane had she lived but I don't think she was old enough to have trained long enough to move or react as fast as light.

Yeah, I mean I too don't remember anyone saying her portals appear that fast, but well, I might forgot someone state that. Just saying even if they are it's not like they cannot be outpaced.

Tbf no one other than the big three was a level five for long, since in the Ella vs Clark and Alexis fight they said the formula was completed just recently. And I don't really doubt that a level 5 superhuman's specialty could easily reach the speed of light.

Powers from Light would probably be those that surpass the speed of light, at least most of the time.

Imma go recheck Ella vs Nico ... this is gonna take ages.

Ella says that she modified her nervous system to give her faster reactions, but she doesn't say by how much. She could have theoretically given herself light-speed reflexes by running fiber optic cables through her body, but that still wouldn't let her move at light speed. The signal would reach her muscles near-instantly, but the muscles would take the normal amount of time to contract. She also probably couldn't perceive at light speed, either, since the receptor molecules in her eyes would have a minimum time required to reset after absorbing a photon. I think it would actually be more harm than good to have a light-speed nervous system. From your perspective you'd get a single flash of images, then hours of darkness as your body so slow it's like it's stuck in cement. It would be torture.
