I mean, the MC noticed that the Asura all fucked up by a previous fight with other A Class still moved super fast, but yeah, is a bit funny to know than that Behemot, almost 100 meters tell weight less than a whale
Yeah but they are fast because they are strong not because they are light. The mass behind the speed is one of the reasons why the attacks of the big monsters are devastating.

Monster Deryl being 40 meters tall but only weighs about 4 tons is some wacky stuff.

For reference, a male African elephant which is only around 3 meters tall weighs about 6 tons.

He has. Can't remember what scene he discusses it. but he said, "It didn't work." It's an unconscious weakness he inherited from his mother.

Yeah like jjtom000 said it still explodes.
Ah I wasn't sure if it really was a psychological weakness or kind of a chicken and egg sitution. I guess he could theoretically talk-no-jutsu himself out of his weakness then?

The biggest chekov's gun in the game turns out to be Alexis solving our vulnerabilities with legitimate therapy??

These recent discussions involving him, kind of give me a new appreciation for Cole(just a little bit), I mean I don't want to give it to him like the other fella on the thread, but he is fairly interesting, even if he is kinda pathetic, a character so flawed has it's own charm after all.

Though, I've been thinking about him and the wards as a whole, i know HERO as an organization is far from being truly heroic, as Deus himself has pointed with disdain, but, I feel a little weird than some the Captains, especially Malik(or rather only him, I mean, Nyx for instance surely wouldn't give a fuck) were okay with Xanthe experimenting with a bunch of orphans, since, I think is safe to assume they all knew, since all of that taked place within one of HEROs base, an a lieutenant of Kronos go to stop Ella when she freed the wards.

Though, perhaps was something Xanthe did under the table?, with just some selected squads knowing?, is hard to tell.

Coming back to Cole though, reading his card, i think he might have benefited from having been mentored by Malik, their powers/monster parents are different of course, but are close enough for Cole to having learned some useful stuff, like his fourth evo literally gave him a technique similar to one of Malik's(seekers same name and all), and even more than that, I'm sure Malik could probably be a good foster parent, and Cole may have ended as a cool dude instead of being a little sociopath with delusions of grandeur

Are they different though. We never find out what monster parent Malik has, so for all we know him and Cole share the same one.

Nah, Malik monster parent is listed as unnamed, and I'm sure WeirdWorld would have already mentioned the Cherufe being the Monster that got Malik too as a curiosity by now.

Besides, Cole's power is more about 'heat' as a whole, Malik has Pyrokinesis, is similar on some functions but at core is different, and I don't think evolution would branch a power to such degree

The mutation might actually make their powers vastly different but I don't think they share the same monster from what I remember Malik's monster was completely fodder and is still unknown to us.

I mean, Liz and Amber have completely different powers despite having the same monster parent and neither having undergone evolution yet. This shows that even with the same monster parent, two superhumans' abilities can wildly vary.

When the Mc meets Malik for the first time in the cafeteria, he asks him how he feels about HERO, if the player says he hates being imprisoned in the base for a month and forced to join, Malik's response to that was that they could have changed their recruitment process and he implied that it was better for superhumans to band together regardless of how that comes about. So, if Xanthe tells the others that the wards powers which are connected to their lifeforce are unstable due to their young age and they will need additional treatment and operations to increase the likelihood of their successful I think Malik would agree to it. He might not agree to every operation or experiment Xanthe has in mind and might have his own reservations, but he did seem willing to accept Xanthe experimenting on humans to create superhumans didn't he? Considering the fact that Xanthe's understanding of monster compatibility is a result of decades of human experimentation, I think as long as it's for the greater good Malik will bitterly accept certain brutal decisions.

Supposedly it was for their own good. During the flashback, Xanthe says something about how this was necessary to Cole, because his body wouldn't be able to handle his power otherwise.
