Just started with the game and I wanted to know if Danny (trap/gay) content is necessary, like does it removes some scenes from the game ?
And is there any meaning full difference if i chose or not to pursue him ?

That content is, as far as I know, completely optional. You won't lose out on anything by not going for him. I will however check quickly

Currently completely optional. Only removes lewd and sexual scenes from view that only have Danny as Vivian content.

I'm going to agree with Sadowdark and say that's meant to be black. It would help to know what you were doing leading up to that (what quest you were completing and/or what percent scenes complete you were at, etc) since very few of us have every single moment, word, and image of Taffy Tales memorized.

i didnt agree with Sadowdark. This must be animated. in begin of game and middle we have fully animated scenes with Jessica and becca. This game must fully animated or fully dark scrined

What quest were you completing (exact wording would be the best)? What location? What was your percent complete at for scenes?
Without more information, many of us can't look deeper without taking a shitton of time to answer your question. So, that being said -
help us help you.

BTW, not every scene is animated. There are black transitions and more. Just as a heads up if you haven't played this much. However, that said - we have seen player who aren't seeing all the animations either because of their rig specs or some coding.

You can disagree all you want. That doesn't mean you are correct. Sadowdark is an avid player of this game. He can be wrong ... but many times he is correct.

"Scene with Mary as school girl" does not ring a bell (edit: got it -- in the new content, looking now) - I do not recall any scene with Mary dressed up as a school girl. In her robe, in her apron, in a swimsuit, naked, those all ring a bell.

What quest were you on? What is the percentage of scenes complete you are at? What room in the house or other location were you in at the time? Please be more specific ...

Thank you. Both Sadowdark and I were incorrect. My apologies, you are correct. There is animation in that scene. If you had stated this was in the new content from the start, I would have had the answer for you much sooner rather than this back and forth. This is because we have run into this with other players in this thread regarding some of the new content. See the video behind the spoiler.

We have seen that some people with an older OS (Windows 7, for example) or an older video card or low RAM or haven't made sure their OS and drivers are up to date can have problems viewing some of the m4v animations in Taffy Tales. If you are using Windows 10 or 11 with at least 8GB RAM and have a reasonably recent video card with all drivers and OS up to date, and you are playing v0.89.8a or v0.89.8b - when someone shares v0.89.8c here, download it to see if it is corrected for you. If you are playing v0.89.8c and you have everything up to date, I recommend reporting it to the developer in their discord #bug-report channel because Uberpie hasn't communicated in this thread in 4 years.

There is no such thing: See #4 in the FAQ I posted for the 45th time just 8 posts before yours. Just use the save code to start at new content and take a little time to play the update.

Version "a" means it is an Alpha version, you should always expect bugs in alphas,
But the Black parts (animation fails mostly) seem to be a problem for several people (version b too)
We'll have to wait and see about version c.
