She's the artist that's done all of the ZR1 and ZR2 characters, she also had been the artist for a few other games and dropped out due to work flow... She also makes her own comics...

oh... just remembered there's coartist in this project, I said that because I just saw Scarlett's newest work and its pretty much the same to the new misty artwork.
with the amount of people who paid for her patreon, it should be no brainer for her to leave her office job and make drawing her fulltime job

I mean the main thing in the game is the survival element... 2nd comes Harem and base building and story is the least.
Yorna's Events are all the story we get... Sure there is some plot twists and some backstabbing, but it certainly won't win them the pulitzer

If you want to fully grasp the main story then I would say yes. It helps explain some of the characters in ZR2. But at this point in the story you can get away with not having played ZR1. But I suspect that eventually you will need to. But if you really want to get everything you need to play ZR1 & Town of Passion. But that game gives more context to ZR1. In fact all of Siren's games are connected in some way.
I played Town of Passion and ZR1 too but didn't finished ZR1.
Looks like ZR1 gonna be remake in characters visual i will wait for play.

Changing Plans | Milf Showdown Update Reveal
Hey everyone!
Bit of a different update today but I'm making some changes to the upcoming release schedule for Zombie's Retreat 2!
== Switching Release Plans ==
Originally, Meredith's 2024 Milf Showdown update was going to release after the Misty story update.
However, these past few weeks, I've been finishing up another one of my game projects (
The story update with Misty will be a pretty demanding update making sure the pacing of the story events feel right. And since I've been busier than usual, I didn't feel confident delivering that update in a reasonable time.
So instead, Beta 0.22 will be Meredith's Milf Showdown update instead! Beta 0.23 will be the Misty update afterwards.
== The 'new' Beta 0.22 ==
This update will feature a brand new, 'super' outfit for Meredith as a way to celebrate her (second) victory in the 2024 Milf Showdown tournament!
There's been a mysterious hero ridding Crimson City of it's most vile criminals. Rumor has it, she's very beautiful too! I wonder if anyone has ever been able to meet her before?
Stay tuned later this week for a Patron-exclusive look at Meredith's new outfit!

Because this update will be shorter and easier to complete, I'm currently aiming to release this Milf Showdown update later this month. Currently, I plan to have this update complete and released to $5+ ZR2 Patrons on Friday March 28th!
That date might change slightly if I need a little more time so I will update you all if that's necessary.

My apologies for any possible confusion. As this month has gone on, it's become quite clear that releasing the updates in this new reversed order will create a smoother schedule for ZR2 over these next couple of months. I hope you all understand.
