That's 3D Custom Girl Evolution. Can be confusing but it is different from just 3D Custom Girl. Made by the same people and has the same models and everything. Evolution is the game, 3D Custom Girl is just a girl maker where you can export the files.

If you want to make models you can export, then Vroid studio might be a better option. It's still in active development and its free.

Switch to Koikatsu Party or Koikatsu sunshine. There is an exporter plugin and a blender plugin that can convert Koikatsu girls and boys into FBX for use with unity or for VR.

I'm not sure but I believe the 4chan mmd community was the one to put together the rentry, its called 3DCG4Chan I also have a whole paste with links I'm compiling for mod collections that are still alive and going.

someone else linked the game earlier from a youtuber (Recommend updating to XPR5 which is linked below), that one works for me but I will let you know what other things I find on it if you want since I am in the process of reinstalling it. (Nostalgia)

If you have mods installed on it probably a mod (especially if its a hair mod), if its a fresh install you're probably missing a file, if you used the earlier one someone else linked and you put it on an external HD it's probably that (I never got it to run on an external hd)

EDIT: 3DCGXPR4.1 does turn on your camera I'm pretty sure it was a feature, for something. it goes away with the XPR5 Update.
