Unless my memory is playing trick on me, the date needs to happen for the story to progress, and as long as you are on the loyalty path you are safe.
I think this is the grindiest game I've ever played. Weeks can pass with nothing happening to advance the story. If it wasn't for the sleep through an entire day and the cheat app on the phone, I would have quit. Continuing mostly out of curiosity to see how the MC does with the aunt/cousin.
If you're grinding on anything, you're doing something wrong.
There's a walk through in the OP if you're stuck on something.
Following the walkthrough. An example: do 3 backyard photoshoots that only occur on Sunday. Skip six days and do the one thing. Skip six days and do the one thing. Skip six days and do one thing. Grindy.
That's not what grinding is.
But to the point. You should be working on the school election at the same time as you're doing helping Lauren and Mandy with their InstaSlam account.

As much as I would like every time slot in every location to have new content for every release - that is simply not practical.
The WT is as much about what events happen before what and did you get all the events.
I did the orginal WT - because I had found a lot of ways of how NOT to get thur all the events

yep she lost election,but now im just stuck on it and nothing happens in those evenings.
I'm stuck on the Window Display event (visit Lauren in the lounge in the evenings). It's the only event left on my list. Any ideas?
