Playing this for the first time. I’m mostly positive about it so far. I like the story, though it progresses very slowly (Fionna just asked to take the ladies bowling). And I like most of the characters. My biggest problem so far is that I don’t like Fionna. I know that MC is supposed to be in love and they’re supposed to be engaged, I just really don’t care for her or think she’s particularly attractive. She also seems like a terrible match for the MC. *shrug*

Forgive me, but I just found this game and downloaded it and it appears to starting with a few girls running away from something, did something happen and I'm not starting from zero? It just sorta feels like I'm missing the rest of the game before this and I am asking before I get into it if this is how it is supposed to just start and there will just be a lot of exposition? Again sorry, I just didn't want to start unless I knew it was supposed to start like this.

It's that time of the year. You know what I'm trying to say.
11,100 words, 374 renders, 23 animations... I thought it would be a small update, and it kind of wasn't. Get used to it because I doubt there will be smaller ones in the future. The story has taken up speed and there are more and more things to bring into every new coming day.
I hope you're excited about the next update. Sneak peaks can be found on my Discord, because I did work on some environments even before this update was finished.
Have fun exploring the update. This time there is a scene that's a bit harder to access than usual, but you guys will figure it out. I'm sure of it.
The Swedish translation of Episode 6.5 wasn't yet ready uppon release but at this point it has been added.

With those cames, I always wonder, when they have invisible characters is it because of the story, or because it's easier to render...
You know in stargate sg-1 there was an episode where O'Neill was invisible, actually he was away, but the still wanted to include him in the story, so they made him invisible...

Or...having the power to be invisible will be a factor in the battle eventually, so it needed to be part of the story all along (Chekhov's Gun). It would just be bad writing if a completely new power becomes miraculously available to the MC during the climax.
I think you're confusing live action stories - where availability (or lack thereof) of actors has always resulted in storyline tweaks on the fly - with AVN's, where the characters can be rendered at will and there are no contract disputes, pregnancies, etc. to necessitate making a character invisible arbitrarily.
Does HT get scenes with an invisible character rendered a little faster and appreciate that? I'm sure. But the writing so far has given no cause to imply her invisibility is a result of laziness on the part of the dev, so I completely trust that her invisibility is 100% intentionally about character development and story. Even if it plays no part in the final confrontation, it will be a pretty significant and emotional moment when someone who has a long history of trauma and is too afraid to show themselves finally becomes comfortable enough to allow herself to be regularly seen by the MC.
