The Prelude plays out four years before the events of episode one and is meant to introduce the initial cast. If you played the old version you already know who is who of course as only little has changed on that front. I did opt to not have the narrator flash back moments of the original episode one...at least not in general. If it's hard to make out who knows who and why I can only say that this solves itself bit by bit as even in episode 2 which I currently work on some detailed character background is provided to know why a certain person may act in a certain way.

The problem I had was I never played the previous versions.

I've played until the beginning of chp5, but even though I won't be continuing since there is no harem route (I mistakenly thought there was a harem tag) I can offer a little bit of feedback if you are interested in any.

The prelude like I mentioned feels bad as a new player to your "universe" but I already explained this one in a previous comment, the MC feels a bit too stupid at times, maybe this is explained why in a previous game, but he doesn't even realize the girls enjoy fucking him and thinks they pretend to orgasm and adding to that while I understand the MC feels like he needs to reject the women early on it is a bit much imo, even in the prelude some are throwing themselves on him and he kinda acts retarded. The game also needs a walkthrough imo.

Having said that, I liked the dystopian setting and I think you nailed most characters (minus my issues with the MC), the plot alien stuff itself seems interesting and almost makes me want to continue but it looks like I already screwed myself by pursuing every girl available and I can't be bothered for solo girl playthroughs.

The art itself even though it can be initially weird / ugly I found that I ended up getting used to it, and by the end it didn't seem that bad, you are clearly improving in that aspect, it will certainly put some people off, but it's also unique.

Anyways, I hope my feedback didn't come off as too harsh since that isn't my intention and good luck in your project.

Absolutely not constructive criticism like this can only improve the way ahead...

The first sample pic is all the walk-through one needs apart from the mantra to talk to everyone always in interlude but funny enough if you've gone for every girl in episode one that is exactly what you should do.

While it is true that I don't go for a pure harem game you will have multiple options and given the ratio between man and woman almost an obligation to bed more than one, plenty even don't worry about that.

The protagonist is a married guy which at times is morally conflicted with his choices. I don't want to portray him as stupid but also not as a know-it-all. Depending on choices in episode 2 his demeanor will change, I guess the Dom-route is something you may enjoy if you want him to pro-actively pursue woman or overcome his inner conflicts in a reality which has more females than males.

Some woman are how to put it...a tad more free spirited than others. If you pursue one of them hard enough they will stop doing that.
With most women ( my plan for episode 2 right now ) you have to be either on the Sub or Dom-route to go far with them ( while some have both routes covered ). Depending on choices you may end it with a girl which can lead to them pursuing others or them realizing that they want a more submissive or dominant man in which case you may come back from that not leaning to far in one direction. In the general sense real NTR only happens if the MC does both...treating his love interest poorly and sleeping with others behind their back but all that in episode 2.

So the short answer is yes, it's possible but for every main love-route absolutely avoidable.

This is why having a walkthrough would help out, so we can know which ones to go for or not. Also things like is telling that one girl we might be related or pursuing the mother and daughter at the same time or just one, etc.

I personally was a huge fan of the previous games. I just was very bummed that it just stopped (abandoned). It also had it's fair share of flaws to be honest (which is fine).
I really like:
-The artstyle, it is unique but I like it a lot.
-The story telling, it is not just a simple sex game. It has actually character building (this is VERY good), choices that are meaningful, actions have consequences I love this about ALE games. There are characters that just want to fuck and other that want to have just a fling and some that fall in love with the MC.
-I like that the main character is struggling with these choices (this is what makes it more realistic), because he tries to stay "faithful" and not be a manwhore, but we all know if put in these situations 90% of us would cave under that temptation too.
-I really like that the MC needs to have sex in secret with most characters because most woman would NOT like that fact, knowing their partner is going with multiple women.
I do not really like:
-Not knowing my standing with each character.
-Not knowing if there are or are not scenes with a character.
-Being not able to replay the encounters.
-I would not like having every female willingly without any problem want to be the MC's fucktoy. I non realistic scenario where every woman wants him without having issues with him fucking around would breack the immersion I think.

Again these are just my opinions. I hope you continue with this game, add more to see and do and eventually at some point have a finished product.

FoxeR34 above explained my aim on the pro side really well...especially the last bit I agree with...to keep it all mildly realistic in terms of character build up every change for example having multiple woman that know and accept each other sharing needs a subtle believable approach so the back and forth with the bf or manwhore comment is part of all that. Don't take it too serious as most woman in Episode 1 are still used to be able to have one man for themselves even though twice as many woman made it to safety...

-Not knowing my standing with each character.

Is a bit part of the struggle and character allure...If you make the choices provided you got the best route for them in EP1

Not knowing if there are or are not scenes with a character.

That one I get...just make sure you really try talking to everyone in interlude some twice sometimes and you should not miss out a walk through will definitely be part of EP2 to get the basics because that one will have some more dynamic...

-Being not able to replay the encounters.

At the end of Part 10 of Episode1 will be a gallery in which at least the art can be revisited. In EP2 that will be easier as events progress in the sandbox part of the environment...that said a few one and done scenes are also in EP2 but a better gallery will be too for these.

I would not like having every female willingly without any problem want to be the MC's fucktoy. I non realistic scenario where every woman wants him without having issues with him fucking around would breack the immersion I think.
