The way hes written Kendra and with her slow manipulation of Anna. The setup of Anna finding out bit by bit of David and Alexia. With all the clues put in earlier. Theres is no real emotional scenes so far. Although it was a bit sad in the latest update with David and Anna.
Your argument in your previous post about Anna doing all these things without Kendras help is quite blind.

As a consumer who hasn't contributed monetarily to the project (yet, hopefully), I can say that I really liked what we've seen so far, especially the way the anticipation builds and will give us more satisfaction when the interesting thing happens.
I believe in freedom of expression, for and against (be it critical or hate). I'm also a little worried that we have too many hopefuls to delay the development of the story as another/s user/s state before.
Mr. Palmer's patreons have grown over time (is it because more people believe in AMP?), that gives me the security that he will continue working on the project as he has been doing (I highly doubt that what is said in this forum will change his or his patreons mind).
I hope that he continue working on the project as he has been doing so that everyone who appreciates APM can keep enjoying it.

Love the update Mr Palmer. If I may point out a few things.Kendra needs a more mature body seeing her naked makes me think she 20or21 yrs of age and I know I said this before but you should do something about her hair curly is fine but looks like she never fixes it or style it. Now with that in this update I see at least 8 people against David some he thinks r friends others he don't have a clue on. I'm wonder 2 things is Kendra going to be the only woman going after David and will he have to take on all these people with no real people to help him

None of which have been expressed as anything other than the same intellectually cheap and narratively lazy excuses of: "Oh, it's not my fault, I just wasn't thinking!" "Oh, it's not my fault, my hormones were just crazy!" "Oh, it's not my fault, I just didn't want to make a big deal out of it!" "Oh, it's not my fault, I'm sure they don't mean anything by it!"

More than enough attempts to have her taste the strange cocked side of life even into chapter 3: the vaunted "CONSEQUENCES" sequence. Yet by strange coincidence not an iota of self-awareness or genuine attempt to reconcile. Plenty of time for her to reflect on how handsome Marcel is (regardless of whether the player has her pull her hand away) and how much she might need Sternberger's money (because ya know, divorce from David is inevitable due to him being the unquestioned bad guy).
So yeah, great writing. Would certainly stand up against such strong competition as Twilight and Fifty Shades of Grey.

I mean, here we are, on what is ostensibly a pirate porn game site, I feel like if you are expecting prize winning plots, you are barking up the wrong tree. That aside, personally I think cheating is always a choice, outside of drugs or violence. I just mentally insert that subtext into these game/situations that whomever cheats, got tempted sufficiently to give in to something they wanted. Like, its all fiction my dude, if somebody REALLY didn't want it in these games, there's a very limited number of reasons they could have to not fight back most of the time. It's NTR logic, it isn't sensible outside of trying to engineer the situations the designer wants. If that is too much for somebodies horny/suspension of disbelief, then they are welcome to look elsewhere, or often times, just state that they find something hard to believe and hope they are heard and listened to going forward.

Except the guy isn't selling it as an ntr game, he's selling it as a "CONSEQUENCES MATTER" game. And call me crazy, but labeling it that kind of a game would imply to me that there is an actual thought being put into both the ntr AND non-ntr stories. Because there's an actual choice. Like the author claims there is.
I mean, oddly enough, when I played the porn game Acting Lessons and was told the choices matter in the game, the choices actually mattered. There's a character death in that game that's genuinely heart-wrenching because even though it's a porn game, the writing had made me care about both characters and then cruelly forced me to pick which one lived and which one died. And the endings are affected by the actions the player has taken in the previous episodes and so range from happy yet melancholy to entirely alone and all of them feel in keeping with your own actions.
Hell, even the game Superhuman manages to change whether certain characters live or die and how they interact with your character based on decisions you make regarding your abilities and who you choose to romance and how. It's a lot of effort, but it is entirely possible to give the players actual choice instead of the illusion of it without lying to them.
And in this game? Everything I've previously reiterated about Anna and the way the narrative twists itself into pretzels to shove her at quite literally everybody except David even into the supposed endrun that chapter 3 is supposed to be. But somehow instead of being a third act it feels like a desperate excuse to try and shove more cock in Anna's face instead of actually address the supposedly important plot that was meant to be the impetus behind all of this.
Basically the reason I'm so hard on the plot is because it claimed that the plot mattered but more and more it's feeling like it just doesn't. Maybe it's dumb of me to feel this way but my fundamental starting point is: If it's an ntr game, than just make it an ntr game. Don't blow smoke up my ass saying that the choices matter if it's actually just a choice between "town bike" and "fuck you you're doing it wrong."

For all you unhappy gentlemen complaining about this and that, look at the bright side. You're getting this game/story free of charge. I personally think the story is quite entertaining and the artistry exceptional. That said, my expectations are clearly a little more tempered than others. This is after all, an adult gaming site.
Yes, how ignorant of us to take the Dev at his word and treat the game the way he said he wanted it treated. Clearly we should've just patted him on the head and told him he's such a champ for making a real effort before ruffling his hair and sending him off with a cookie. If I didn't think the art and the project itself didn't have potential I wouldn't be here. If I really saw nothing worth thinking about or engaging with, I'd simply shrug my shoulders and walk away the way everyone else seems to dismissively suggest. I thought his pitch for it sounded interesting, I was intrigued by the characters when the game first started getting published. Am I not allowed to have my feelings change based on how it has developed? Am I to simply arrest any thought or engagement at the five year old stage of 'ooh shiny lights on screen!' when the author themselves apparently wanted it taken seriously?
Maybe I'm missing something, but that attitude seems far more dismissive and demeaning than taking the work at the value its author claimed to want it to have. I mean, if we're just going to dismiss Palmer's work as just another porn game when he himself described it as a story where we decide the fate of actual characters, then what's the point of even talking about it like this? Offering honest thoughts and elaborating on where our heads are at regarding it?
Why call it a story if we're just going to treat it as moving cave paintings of people bumping uglies?
I am not particularly holding my breath for it, but considering the outline on page one here says that Act 1 and Act 2 are supposed to set up how Act 3 plays out, which to my understanding is supposed to be the ending/final act, we don't really know if the choices have mattered or not yet. For all we know, your choices have kept a background tally that determines if things are resolved in certain ways. Judging it now is like building 70% of a Lego set and then saying the box lied to you because what you built doesn't look like the picture on the box yet.
For the record as well, Acting Lessons is made by one of the most well known game authors on this site. So... yeah, most porn games may not have shit for plot, but his and a few others do, they just are pretty much the exception, not the rule. Acting lessons and BaD being some of the best porn games I have ever played as far as getting you invested in them. Superhuman actually doing a pretty decent job of it too, even if the art is a bit out there by comparison.
I didn't intend to say that every porn game ever is shallow and to never expect anything from them, just that MOST, are not going to give you what you seem to want. plus, we are on F95, which means we are getting a pretty wide spread of content, that is not curated at all. Even a lot of 1.0 and beyond stuff here is still not exactly quality, or comparable to other more popular or well known content.
You just seem really worked up about something that is not going to do anyone, even yourself, any good to get worked up over. Admittedly in most NTR plots, its sort of the point to get at least minimally invested or it doesn't really work, but still. Pretty sure this has always been slated to be an NTR game, like, I played it back before Act 1 was even close to finished, and it was tagged as NTR since that time. So saying they should either make it NTR or not, seems kind of... silly. Its always been an NTR game, and the choices haven't been "to NTR or not to NTR" its been based on degrees of betrayal. If everyone has just maximally stabbed everyone else in the back, it seems unlikely there is any sort of resolution that keeps the marriage together and them going forward in any meaningful way. Even if that is the only "consequence" of your choices through the whole game, I think thats still pretty impactful.
I am trying to believe that your arguement is about if your choices are impactful or not, and not about NTR being avoidable or not.
Obviously I could just be talking out my ass, and when 1.0 comes that there is literally no resolution of anything, and nothing you decide throughout makes any difference. But getting upset about it now just seems premature based on the history of the game so far. I am sure I will look very dumb if that comes to be, but oh well.
Also, many of your presented standpoints seem to present only two opposite extremes. Like either "We believe this developer 100% and treat this as gold!" or " author make game about unga bunga naked monkey sex." as if there is no in between. I approach these games with a degree of pragmatism, enough have bombed for me to not sit and get busted up over every single one I think has potential, if that happens? Hopefully get a decent fap out of it, if it doesn't? Get a good story and several faps. But I am not going to sit and go "this dev said to take his work seriously, so thats what I am gonna do this time!" no, that would be silly, and naive. I will hope it lives up to it, but I don't see the point in getting butthurt that it doesn't unless I am investing money and getting promises in return.

I'm not highbrow by any means. I just recently played that Grandpa Comes Home & Alley Woes novels by Valedon because the art style looked exaggerated in ways I could go for. That had really strong ntr elements.
But the author didn't try to sell it as a serious story in the description. It was literally just: "A grandpa comes home to his thicc family" and "a rich girl gets pounded by hung homeless." God knows it didn't even amount to the level of a doujin you might find on a website but it gave me some brief enjoyment from the exaggerated proportions and breezy pace.
This is talking about whether you're going to save or destroy a marriage. About how their happiness is in your hands. How your choices shape their future and how there will be consequences to actions. In other words, it's talking about itself in the terms of a game where the player can do things the dev themselves might not have wanted or agreed with. Like they have an actual say in what's happening.
And I have a bad habit of trying to take people at their word. If you tell me it's just an ntr game where smaller dicks get their big titted girls fucked by hung bulls, I'm down. If you tell me you've got a story to tell and you want me to invest in your characters, I'll gladly empathize so I can smile and cry for them.
But don't try to tell me the choices matter if they don't. Don't tell me there's a fork in the road if there's only one path. And don't tell me there are consequences to actions if the story itself isn't going to actually let me act instead of tell me at every turn I don't know what story I'm trying to make and calling me a dumbass for treating it the way it claimed it wanted to be treated.

I think that you've picked up what others refuse to, that Anne is a narcissistic hypocrite who lives in a carefully curated reality where she can do no wrong and is always a victim of circumstance. Me and my partner picked it up in her first POV chapter when we were horrified upon hearing her thoughts. At first we just kind of thought she was dumb. Upon hearing how conniving the thoughts going through her head were we realized she was so much worse. David doesn't need a marriage counselor he needs the witness protection program to help him disappear.
