My good man, I wasn't arguing at all. If you want to mod a game to have incest then more power to you, to each his own. Maybe I missed the incest switch in my playthroughs but I have seen an apparently their is enough pushback to have the incest tag removed.

Definitively not a hill I want to die on fighting over an incest tag, but you have much stronger feeling than I do over the matter.

The only real incest part the MC is involved with at the moment is of the inseki kind sort of since Emily is "kinda" his step-mom and Frisha + Mira his step-sisters. Outside of that as mentioned it mostly revolves around the other characters. For instance Frisha + Dave are heavily implied to be half-siblings

The thing is it's not a mod at all. It's the base game that's downloaded. Like a lot of incest games on this site there is a point where the game asks you to clarify your relationship and like most incest games that do that sort of thing the default is no incest because of patreon. Read the earlier comments people mentioned. Marcius letter is the incest switch, after you read it the first time the Mc will ask if you read it right and then you can edit it and that will change certain relationships.


Marcus becomes mc's father, Mira becomes mc's half sister, and Frisha because Giron's illegitimate daughter and Dave's half sister, but only Emily knows so there is ntr incest with Frisha, Dave and Giron.


The push back seems to be from people like you and the other commenter earlier who don't realize that you are given the option to change their relationships in the letter. And just assume that no matter what Marcus isn't the mc's dad even though, like I pointed out it changes even the wording of the letter and doesnt just swap guardian with father.

Been trying to revisit the game with a fresh start but I keep having issues with crashing. I've tried a few different versions I still had floating around and suddenly all of them are crashing, where as in the past I can't remember ever having this issue. Crashing seems sporadic, sometimes cant even get through a single day. Anyone else experience anything like this?

Found a bug on 0.6.0.0 Bugtest. The game locks up at Northwest Pond when talking to Snikka at the time when MC, Tia, Lyvia, Bianca remove their clothes to dive into their world.

Had it happen as well. I forgot what time she said she would be there (I think she said a time, maybe I misremembered) because she wasn't there. Searched her, saw your post, didn't find the time. So I just forwarded hours until she showed up. First time it froze after I talked to her. Reloaded the autosave and did the same, this time it didn't freeze after we ditched our clothes.

What's your perception at? It might be too low to spot it in which case you need to go and do other things to level up and get talent points to spend on peception.

I do a full playthrough for almost every release. (skip the intro, but other than that fresh start).

I have had quests bugged at times, but those are usually known bugs that get fixed.

I am near the end of 5.9.7test, and haven't had any crashes. Just the one freeze that resolved after I rebooted the game.

Sounds like you are running into some other conflict that your PC has with the game.

Have you been prompted in game to relook in her room? I ask because I am wondering if your game file has all the necessary checks to make the letter reappear. There may be something else you need to do. I have done the monastery more than a handful of times, and still get tripped up on the order at times / have to do a step twice.

The letter is about half way between the two side walls, about half way between the top wall and the bed.

I understand this too, but it's just a tag, which helps people stay up to date with the game. Sometimes I don't understand when the title is updated, because without that tag, it doesn't appear in the list. And with the huge amount of titles on F95, it's hard to keep track of all the games

But above all, removing it would cause the game to lose potential supporters. Those looking for that particular fetish can subscribe to Subscribestar and help the author decide to release more content of that type and with different new characters.

I still hope he adds a paternal aunt and a maternal aunt with other family member.
I imagine the paternal aunt owning a sort of farm with her husband and a daughter, where the protagonist could eventually help her improve it. Something like the the farm is run down and needs to be renovated. The quest will be of type "bankrupt" and by helping it recover, something will then develop between the two and a relationship start form aunt e nephew

On the maternal side, a completely different situation could then be created. Like having to restore the family home to its former splendor, which had fallen into ruin, know after the protagonist's mother's husband discovered she was having an affair with the MC's father. Here he find out that his mother was locked up in a convent (where the protagonist will have to deal with the mother's possible husband. Who may have taken another wife as a bride, given the embarrassment received from the possible previous wife). And open up to a possible rescue of her to start a love relationship also with his mother.

There are so many possibilities and new characters to add, like cousins and grandmothers (as side missions)

Honestly I don't remember the letter function or just didn't realize the letter part, all I remeber is Emily telling the MC that Frisha is most likely Giron's at one point, think it's during one of the bed talks. I might be wrong here but at least for me it always seems to happen but maybe thats cause I always somehow activate incest mode?

To be fair I still think some of the tags on here are weird or devs/forum members are a bit off course with some tags.

For instance whenever a woman cheats it's almost always an automatic netorare tag doesn't matter if the game has you play as the woman or a seperate male protag, on the other hand it's almost always the cheating tag if it's man who cheats again no matter if you play as a female or the male protag.

Then you have for instance the pregnancy tag which again is at least in my eyes a pregnant person but in some cases, at least from my understanding, the devs have included cumflation to give women big bellies and thus it get's the pregnant tag because it makes them look pregnant.

The incest tag however is probably the most stretched tag probably because of patreons guidelines but you have games that are pretty much 100% incest in my eyes but don't get it cause the devs calls the mom landlady even though it's sometimes directly mentioned the landlady is the MC's mom it's not incest cause she's not called "mom" directly, or in other cases where there are clearly step-siblings which is called inseki in hentai it get's an incest tag as well even though it's not incest, though I guess some see's as such I mean I read an article about a couple about to get married but then their parents hooked up and did a flash marriage and then tried to stop the now "step-siblings" from marrying because it was "incest". Honestly that article made me shocked since it explained how the parents knew their kids were about to get married and then the two somehow hooked up anyway and then got married quickly to not make it weird for them to marry after their kids marriage. So yeah I guess my point is that incest is a bit in the eye of the beholder if it involves blood ties or not.

Frisha isn't Giron's daughter with incest turned off. With incest turns on Emily outright confirms that Giron is the father and that she made up the thing about a traveling merchant to save face when Giron left her for Yasmine.

How is Frisha's father effected by the incest switch? Giron isn't the MC's father with the switch on, so I am not seeing the incest. It is probably there, but I am not understanding it.

I'm really tired of this debate, between those who know it's incest and those who don't want to see it? The tag is there to keep us from search the game with the correct tag. I am just bored that the tag is remove, re active every tot week, when I have the incest tag active i need to find this game. Only because there are some users, who just don't want to accept this thing!

However, the standard text in it excludes any consanguinity. It may be that this was originally planned differently in the game. But what counts is what is now.

Are we still doing this? Relationship changer is the real incest and the story is irrelevant to whether the Marcus is the mc's father or not. There's no change in the story one way or the other and no indication that it's going to change. And there i no indication that the mom's husband is going to be anything more than a passing reference acknowledging they exist. Incest being off by default is kind of irrelevant since that's the case with every game on this site where the dev uses patreon. Even on games where it's batantly obvious what the true relationships are.

A Short Review Of The Past Week

Good morning,

I've decided to write this now before it get's even later and I can almost write the next report.
So I want to reflect a little on the 0.6.0.0 update and talk about what's next.

First of all I'm really happy that the update is done now. On Friday even the thought of writing another "I need more time" report made my stomach turn... I didn't want to write it but at the same time I just couldn't get it done. I then worked through Saturday and was at least able to finish one of the two routes for Ugotha. But it took the whole day yesterday to finish the second route.
What's now taken so long was on the one side additional content that I added in such as some more transition animations as well as Bianca now being able to join the group outside the mine (I hope I have edited in enough for all the different situations such as Tia's quest and others where partymembers join/leave the group, if someone finds the time, a playthrough in which Bianca is in group from as early as possible would be appreciated). - Would require for Lyvia's content to be completed, other than that I think that's it for requirement.

The choice to go this step for Bianca now and not in a future update came when I made the decision to add the passage to the banditcamp. I definitly wanted to have a way to access the goblin village easily. So originally I had planned to add a connection to Gavina's valley and the camp. For now only the connection to the camp made it, since I decided that this would be most convenient and easiest to access. But yeah when leaving for the camp this would have meant Bianca has to stay in the mine... so that's why I decided to go the extra mile and made her able to join group outside the mine now. It also fit with the story of the quest as Bianca wanted to leave the valley behind. - There are now of course no animations for all the defeat scenes, something I will add in the future when I have the time.

Anyway. It was fun working on this new area and the goblin village will get more content in the future so that the inbetween times can be better filled out. For example I want to add fishing to the game in the future, and fishing there would make for a good activity and then there are of course the other 2 routes for Nibblina and Snikka that also want to be implemented + content for both if you've gone the Ugotha route.

But for now I will leave the goblin village behind.
Plans for today are to first write the changelog for 0.6.0.0, then update the walkthrough and then do some last fixes for 0.6.0.0 + adding something I forgot (remembered it last night when going to bed).

When that is done I'll directly begin with working on Imawyn's bonusscene. It is fitting that this is now about her, since I will make use of that to also add Bianca to the feast scene at the camp. I don't know how long this scene will take me, probably depends on how much I add on top... for example I really really wanted to update Imawyn's armor.... all her older dialog images (which I just saw again during the tests) need an update. But that would then also mean that I have to update her images at prison, during emily's kidnapping... just so you get an idea. But I think it would be worth it and is a good preparation for her future update.

Since the work on the bonusscene will begin, it is also time to decide about the next addition to the bonusscene poll. So I'm looking forward to suggestions on discord or via pm. We will then have another pre vote on discord to decide which option will be added to the poll. before it then goes life probably early next week. So as soon as we have enough ideas I'll start the prevote, it will most likely end on monday next week (I'll also inform you about this in my coming friday report).

Anyway, a lot to do! I want to get to Arianna's update as quickly as possible.
