As someone here has said, Sophia has amnesia. She can go from "I'm so sad I did THAT to my son" to "What fun it is to tease these guys, I feel so wet and young" in the blink of an eye.

Now, regarding the conversation, it seems that in general, the second part of this, the one that will happen on the way home, is being overlooked. It strikes me because L&P stands out by using “a lot” when he said that “a lot of things are picked up again”. I think this last conversation will spark the second part of the event. And if I have to guess, I think this is where the animation will be, whether it's a kiss or a grope or something like that...

Relaxed or amnesia, the major problem with Sophia's mind is that there are certain scenes where she is neutral (as if she had made no choice in the story). From there she goes from the nice mother to the perverted mother who loves horny teenagers.

I dont particularly mind her being coy, or like going back and forth with things. Its a relatively short time frame so she should be considering what doing this stuff means and all that. She can enjoy something and then look back and reflect on it and slow it down or walk it back. Like with Dylan her pulling back and him slowly but surely breaking through her boundaries works because of Taboo nature. Obviously now the problem is she is doing this with like 7 other characters so it seems stupid at times when she lets x character to ABC, but then y character wont even get A. Not all the characters are at the same level at the same time so that creates this issue.

At the end of the day its a game with choices, if you didnt want choices then the dev could tell the exact story they wanted and the feeling or "amnesia" wouldnt be there.

In principle, I agree with you. But L&P could have correlated some routes better in terms of the narrative. And if only he had referred more often to another event in Sophia's inner monologues.
This has now improved, we find one or two references to events that have already happened in Sophia's world of thought.
But at the beginning, in Part 1, these narrative gaps were really bad and Sophia's so-called “amnesia” interfered considerably with “reading” the VN.
It can't be the reader's job to fill in these gaps and the narrative and psychological gaps in Sophia's daily routine with their own ideas.

Could someone please help me, i'm trying to do a lesbian playthrough but i can't for the life of me figure out how i can get Ellie and Logan to break up. I've seen other people ask the same questions but no answers. And the walkthrough isn't helping me much either.

There's a lesbian specific wt in the first post or used to be. I think you need to leave the bathroom door unlocked at the beginning to start the dylan/ellie path, then later I think at the end of CH1 ellie will ask dylan his opinion and you can tell her to break up with him.

When I play the most recent part 2 download, it has Sophia's side job as the old men. But I chose homeschooling the kids for her side job in my part 1 final save. I tried starting part 2 from the asking a few questions as well, but that also only had the old men for the side job. Is this a known issue?

There’s a patch to re-enable the homeschooling side job.

There's a lesbian specific wt in the first post or used to be. I think you need to leave the bathroom door unlocked at the beginning to start the dylan/ellie path, then later I think at the end of CH1 ellie will ask dylan his opinion and you can tell her to break up with him.

Thanks that was part of what I did wrong, Sophia needs to go along with Aiden as well so that Dylan is home to catch Ellie smoking. Now I just hope letting Don Morello help get rid of Aiden doesn't mess shit up down the line.
