It's definitely a trope in adult games that so-called "filthy" characters are equated to cheaters and sluts. It's very rare to see a game with a female protagonist that has a healthy and mature sex life. It's too early to tell for sure how the GW path will go, but it would be great to see a game develop a female protagonist in ways that make her sexually adventurous while also committed to her relationship.

The first I played it was without any walkthrough, and I just did what I thought it was reasonable that Sophia would do. A semi-Filthy route if you will, although I did still pick up Goodwife Points by having sex with Liam. So to take an early example I would let slip the first time someone touched Sophia in the basketball scene, but put my foot down the second time. Similarly on the swing with Dylan, I ignored the first time he touched Sophia's ass but said no the second time.

What I found was that had missed a LOT of scenes. e.g. Sophia never went to the club and thus never kissed Patricia, and that also limited scenes with each of Dylan, Sam and Ellie.

I enjoyed it for my first playthrough but then had to do a second playthrough pushing Filthy Points to the max just to get all the scenes. It is a downside of even a game/VN as slow paced as AWAM. Again as I have said before, without having had time jumps already, it already strains what would be realistic in real life.

I said from the beginning that I doubt she's under 40, but in the end it's not much of a problem if she's a bit younger or a bit older.

Regardless of the development pace, it would make sense if we just had a decision point at the beginning of the game where we had to choose between GW and Filthy (with lesbian being optional in both cases). This way the story would be developed in a very different way for each route but with both being interesting.

I know it would be less flexible, but it would close the eternal discussion about who's filthy/lesbian, the player who's made a specific decision or Sophia once the train is on and there's no way to stop it.

Right now L&P seems to be prioritizing the filthy/lesbian routes probably due to the pressure of the patrons, and it has its consequences on the gw route, as expected.

It's very difficult to balance two routes, let alone 3, especially when incest is involved. For example I play Culture Shock VN - that thread is full of whingeing how quickly the mother and sister succumb on the NTR-Beta route compared to how slowly they sleep with the Main Character on the Alpha route.

Similar to the number of times we get asked has the son screwed the mother yet on this thread.

I guess AWAM has probably got the CHANCE of equal number of actual sex scenes between various routes. It is just that eventually by the end of the game, Goodwife sex scenes will probably be spread relatively evenly whilst the Filthy sex scenes will be end-loaded towards the end of the story.

So, as I have said all along - we each get to choose the Dylan we play.

Sometimes this is by Sophia's choices (like hooking up Dylan and Emma - ending the Sophia/Dylan erotic story line) and sometimes by making choices for Dylan - peep/not peep during yoga, for example.

I'm fine with you defining the Dylan in your playthrough however you want.

I just don't think that those who dislike Dylan or don't want there to be any possibility of Dylan and Ellie or Dylan and Sophia to happen should get to define my experience.

I think we are all adults here and each of us get's to choose our experience - courtesy of the deep choices that L&P has and continues to give us.

So - don't like Dylan - I bet L&P gives you an out to avoid an Ellie erotic storyline just like he did with Sophia.

I didn't care for the Vicki/Desean encounter - he was Way too full of himself and I think Vicki pushed the 'let's set up for a threesome' far too hard - end result - +2 good wife points and no more encounter. Maybe that ends the Vicki storyline/maybe not, but I chose to end the encounter for my version of the MC, Sophia.

We are being given many chances and choices to define the boundaries for Sophia, Dylan and Ellie so I have no reason to believe that L&P will stop allowing us to choose - that is part of what makes AWAM so compelling.

That would be the point of this all if L&P wasn't changing the game to please Dylan fans only.

He removed the Twist because of it, if your point stands, why didn't he kept the Twist on? It would make Dylan way more interesting in my view and a lot of other fans.
Now he is changing Ellie personality for Dylan and his fans too, how much more the game will change so Dylan fans can get everything they want?

My proposal had to do pretty much with creating 2 different games based on the AWAM universe. This would've required loads of extra efforts and a proper plan from the very beginning, and this ideal solution was simply undoable due to the time requirements.

So, we'll see how things evolve and how happy people get at the end of the story depending on the chosen route.

As for Ellie, it's also common the case of people who mix up the concepts of wanting to be like someone and wanting to be with someone.

For Ellie, Sophia is a reference. She's told Sophia that she'd like to be like her, and probably she wasn't just speaking about her body. Ellie wants to be as strong, independent, smart, attractive and experienced as her mother.

Also factor in Ellie's curiosity in her burgeoning bisexuality. Ellie is curious about Sophia kissing Patricia. And when her lesbian pal from her dance class (sorry forget the name as she was nt around for long) gives her the opportunity of kissing Julia, and then watching Sophia and Julia kiss and fondle.

Its also the safety factor. Ellie know that whatever happens, Sophia will NEVER hurt her, emotionally or otherwise, and so she has that safe opportunity to experiment, to scratch that Lesbian itch as it were, and see how she feels about it.

The event is indeed well written, with proper buildup and have a lot of renders put on it, i will give you that. In terms of quality is probably one of the best ones in the game yet.

But why Ellie was without a bra and caring so little about being stared at with such carnal desire by Dylan (someone she is disgusted of)? It's the same Ellie as the one we've met on the game, but she acted really different from how she acts with Dylan normally.

Ok, now that I'm in front of a keyboard I can expand upon my comments about ages and timeline. Without going line by line why I think the ages and timelines are weird, but technically consistent, there's a simpler answer to how Sophia can be sub 40, have two children in their "late" teens, a college degree, and been married since her 2nd year of college.

L&P wanted his cake and to eat it too.

He wanted a female protagonist that was as young as possible because he needed to balance out a bunch of competing demands

• She needed to be old enough to be a mom
• But she couldn't be too old because women over 40 are scary to a lot of men
• She needed to be old enough to have two children in their teens
  • These teens need to be of indiscernible ages- especially Dylan because of potentially gross reasons. So her age had to straddle a fine line
  • Sophia can't be too much older because the age gap with her children could become a problem, but she can't be too young because then certain important illusions could be broken
• The story requires her to be sophisticated and educated
• But she can't have much experience in life or sex outside of her husband
• She needs to be a working woman, young enough that she isn't too much older than her students, but old enough that she could actually meet the bare minimum requirements for the position
• Sophia and Liam need to be married for long enough that some of the spark has come out of their marriage
• Because Sophia and Liam are peers, they need to be old enough for him to have advanced through the ranks of his profession, but young enough that he isn't too high up.
• Etc...

Basically this leaves a very narrow age window from which the character of Sophia could be conceptualized. It's possible that a 20 year old Sophia got married, had two children, while in college, while attending classes full-time and playing on the college basketball team, still found time before this to have some experience with women in a light and experimental way, completed at least a four year degree in education, became a teacher, but never taught full time- but taught enough that she had enough experience to get hired after the family moved, etc etc etc. Like, it's all possible, but please don't look too closely and just sorta kinda gloss over everything.

In the end it doesn't really matter because it's just a game. If there's anything I'm frustrated with it's that it seems too hard for too many men to accept a woman in her mid 40s as desirable because I think that definitely came into play here.

That's not whining & being annoying. It's Dylan who whines & annoys, (as do his multiple facepalming fans). Personally, I wish some paying fans would start pushing back against the 'Dylanisation' of this story, because he's getting out of hand. There's only one way I will ever like him & that's when he stops trying to shag his own mother. I can't wait to get him hooked up with a proper girlfriend & that's in Dylan's best long-term interests also.

I think that maybe author is setting up the scene in which Sophia will deflower Ellie, So people wouldn't learn that she was lying about her sexual experiences

That's an even bigger reason. Especially since she seens to look up at and like Sophia way more than Liam. And now, she knows he is not that good in bed and is letting the woman starve for sex too.

That's not going to happen ever in this game. He's the most standard character of an incest game, and even more important in this case considering MC is a mother who needs a son for the most traditional incest relationship anyone could expect. The mother-son incest is far more common than the mother-daughter.

It doesn't mean you can't get rid of him. As long as L&P offers ways to do that without having too many side effects on other paths (you're bound to lose many filthy points if you send Dylan to hell), everything should be ok.
