I had a technical question. When the update comes out, are you able to move your save file to the new update or do you have to play all over again?
Can't you take your last saved file from the previous version, put it in the 'game'/'saves' of the update, and re-number/re-name it. Then load that saved game? Say your last save was 6-3-LT1.save. Copy it, paste to new game/saves, and rename it 1-1-LT1.save. Load that save.

Normally when you open the new update you will find all your saves.
The saved files are stored in a separated directory by renpy and even if you remove the game and re-install it you will be able to have them back.

Maybe he's simply referring to the fact that he cannot post pictures of Mother-Son relationship on Patreon? (I mean any kind of relationship, not just sexual, to avoid getting much attention given the rules on Patreon)

Also sorry for the dumb question but what's a "dlc"?
DLC is downloadable content. L&P would package the side-story up as a one-off. Question is would it be for Patrons only?

The coaching event was directly related to Aiden. As Sophia has the opportunity to say no to Aiden, you need events for these new situations. I think that's the reason for abandoning this event.
What do you mean? The call happened no matter which route Morello/Liam's office you are.
You mean that only if you are in the Aiden path Dylan and Zack are still at home and can go to the training sessions?
In that case, development-wise, it is better he dropped the event as he would have needed to make the scenes twice, with and without Dylan and Zack.

The idea that Sophia is attracted to the idea of a second youth is correct but the motive mentioned here is wrong. She doesn't want to relive the hugs, kisses and long walks under the moonlight but the long nights of sex when Liam never stop.
As a biology teacher and a woman she knows the only ones who can make her relive those moments are the young ones. She even challenges Larry, asking if he can do it a second time.

I can't see a Coach event without Dylan and Zac. They would give Sophia confidence and be the trigger for hot scenes.

We don't have too many evocations of the characters' past.
Some flashbacks like Ellie and Julia would be good to give substance to the characters.

Maybe you are right, Sophia is just kind.

After class, there is an allusion to the novels :

'Wuthering Heights', Emily Brontë
'The Tenant of Wildfell Hall' and 'Jane Eyre', Anne Brontë
'Intrigue and Love', Friedrich von Schiller
'The Sorrows of Young Werther', Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I don't know what is the implicit message but these books tell forbidden love stories.
By choosing to study these books, Sophia surely has an idea behind her head. :sneaky:

Either Sophia is really into the idea of opening Emma's mind, or she wants to put some forbidden ideas into Emma's head. Who knows ?
If I not mistaken they all belong to the Romanticism / Sturm und Drang period.
During the literature class she is talking about the Great Depression and "To kill a mocking bird".
So we can conclude that the readings are not directly related to the current program of her class.

I have vague recollections of some of those books from the school years so I cannot say much.
But for sure the topic of forbidden love, the struggle with life and love etc would make me think again about an effort to challenge and stimulate Emma's thoughts at an age where you are overwhelmed by many questions.
If there is a masterplan behind it... we need to (re-)read those books! ;)

There is no plan.

Everything he does is off the cuff (that means "unplanned" for you non-english speakers). The coaching storyline was literally introduce in the last update and didn't survive to the following update. What a masterclass in showing that you don't have a plan. Now he wants to make it DLC? How long until that runs amok?

It's frustrating because I felt the coaching job had a lot of potential to consolidate characters into one location. This would have made it easier for characters to interact.
That's what the person says who was also upset about the superfluous characters and events being added. Sorry for this attack. But that is just as inconsistent as your allegation. I'll say it again: check your motivation.

I am not of the opinion that Sophia now wants / has to catch up on something that she could not do in her past.
We assume here that the marriage with Liam was precipitated and only owed to external constraints. Like pregnancy, for example.
The connection with Liam was made out of love and with full confidence in the future. That a woman only has to turn 30 to be
able to decide on her own what is good for her is a myth. There are always references that Sophia was a wild girl at the age
of 13 and not a sexual despiser.
Now believing Sophia's motives for sexually engaging with teenagers is due to her messed up past provides an excuse that is
simply unnecessary. The woman wants it and at some point she takes it when the opportunities are there. How deep it falls is
decided by the players.

See the problem with that thinking is while Liam seem's to be a two pump chump at this point in his life he was no doubt good in bed at one point after the meeting with Don Morello they can have sex and Liam basically say's he will make her cum again at some point, So if a guy with two decades of sexual encounters with this woman under his belt can't get her to cum within two minutes how are Sam or Zac going to do that as guys who are almost certainly virgins and have no idea how to please a woman. Although the her mental state could be what gets her to orgasm and not the guys skills if thats the case maybe Dylan would have the edge as it would be very taboo and could be a huge turn on for her in the moment.

No, it's isn't the same thing.

1) I saw the coaching job as a way to consolidate the story. Currently there are numerous characters that need individual events in order for Sophia to interact with them. The coaching job would have made it easier for characters like Sophia, Dylan, Zach, Alyssa, Ellie, and others, to all be in the same place at the same time. This could have saved L&P time in drawing/rendering new environments and writing new events in order for Sophia to see certain characters. Instead, L&P could have used a routine coaching job as a convenient way for everyone to interact and progress relationships.

2) The coaching job provided a great excuse to cut the meandering nursing home storyline. Unless this storyline makes huge progress in this upcoming update, it will have been a waste of time. Eliminating this storyline would not only streamline the story, it would also eliminate characters that are adding nothing to the story and open up opportunities for Sophia to spend more time with characters that matter.

3) Even IF I'm being inconsistent (which I'm not) it still doesn't explain how a storyline like the coaching job could be introduced and then canceled all within one update. If he didn't have a concrete plan for the coaching job from the very beginning he should never have introduced it. I said this from the very beginning, that I felt it was odd to casual throw this new storyline out there but tell everyone that the story may not be developed. This is terrible, TERRIBLE, planning.
