This goes in my "Top 10 Dumbest Choices I've Had To Make In a VN."
I'm supposed to decide whether I, as the player, still want to reconnect with an ex that has obviously done something with intense emotional damage to the MC, without knowing what it is, and with the MC having full knowledge of what it was?
I'm honestly not sure that it ultimately matters since Hailey exists and seems leagues better than all the other LIs combined so far. Even the initial contact with Hailey was out of nowhere, "Message Hailey" "Who TF is Hailey?" I accepted that since the MC didn't give me loads of anguish about contacting her.
If this choice permanently removes Aria and then we get her backstory later, it's a bad choice. If this choice doesn't permanently remove Aria but delays a path until after you get Aria backstory, it's still a bad choice. VN logic 101: Paths after backstories so players can have the same knowledge the MC is armed with.
Who accepts and chases Aria with only the awkward two meetings they've had in the story?

The choice just seems so meta to me. As a player, I know that accepting her just means more content and most of the time, more content is good. Narratively, I can't see him going to her because whatever it was clearly did a lot of damage (and will probably turn out to be a big nothing burger, if I know VN logic). For the writer not to hand the player the knowledge the MC has to make an informed decision is just baffling to me.
I'm expecting Kristyn from Fog of War levels of relationship drama but I'll find out later.

Assuming you talking about the ex. I got to replay the game tbh but the little I recall I didn't like how it felt like you had to make a decision to go to the airport and stop her ( play her path) before you even found out why she is an ex.
that reminds me I need to play that game at some point im behind on updates and Kristyn is my favorite

I agree, having to make a choice without the knowledge is a weird and annoying path. Because I thought she was the hottest for me, I decided to do it and could always just go back and change it, if it was a problem down the line.
I won't tell you what it is, and I know some people didn't like it, but for me, I just went "really, that's all" and kept going.

can't speak for this game as I need to replay it as I forgot to much. But the existence of a Aunt , Cousin , Sister or mother does not mean incest bait. That entirely depends on the context and how they are used. A game can have them as non lewdable characters you don't need to fuck every character that appears on the screen.

Like I said I can't remember this game 100% to be sure. However a banner images isn't always accurate shouldn't assume just because of the banner image. It doesn't always mean that all the characters are LI sure most of the time it probably does but they can be misleading as well. They are just there to get your attention or just look nice there is a reason clickbait exist. ( not saying this is the case with this game)
There is a game I play that uses the sister to promote the game the most and the dev said she will never be a LI. All im saying you never know until you have confirmation from the dev or by playing the game it's clear they have a path. Tags don't mean anything either there are games that have the incest tag but it never was that type of game and was added due to a fanmade patch.
I only trust what a dev says or future / planned tags and those can change just as easily base on the dev's decsion.

So looking at the screen shot above you think there shouldn't be an incest tag or if the dev intends that there not be one that this is not teasing the fact.
