I have a question regarding the lovey dovey app DLC. Is it stand alone, or do I dump the files on the main game?

both, you can use it as standalone, or you can inject it into the main game to save some space

im new and downloaded 1.9.3 and while reading the thread it says there are different save file does that mean the latest posted save file will not work and how do you use the save file?

first, the game is coming on steam this Fall 2025, the store page is accessible and dev ask people to wishlist it
as per every single hentai game that slip into Steam, this game will be all-ages with all the hentai content omitted, and all girls will wear full body skin tight suit for censorship attempt
the patch to get those scene will be distributed separately. how? dev still think about it whether sell as separate content like maybe DLC like Nekopara did or just post it somewhere else like Kagura Games did
and for everything that is holy, dev beg to everyone to refrain from discussing the R18 patch in the Steam community, and refrain from direct links to Ci-en.
second, depend on how many wishlist number the game gets, dev will work on update for the game, below is the mileage list he will work on:

WASD to move around
LMB to attack, repeatedly click to perform attack combo
RMB to dodge (add WASD to direct your dodge)
if far from enemy, hold LMB to charge booster and zoom to enemy face
if close to enemy, hold LMB to perform Cluster Drain to absorb their HP and gain energy for Burst
both LR to perform special move, indicated on bottom right with 5 dots, cost 3 dot per special move
special move separate into 3 variant, Sonic Burst (strong hit), Counter Burst (as if the name doesn't give it away already), Extermination Burst (not sure how to trigger this one)
any other addition will be explained in the game as you play, as long you play in english that is. Anything else is easier to learn on fly
some will argue that you can mash button randomly and still win but i would disagree during boss battle because you would fight them alone and there's no mob to serve as health/energy pack for you
