Why is animation better in this game than in more expensive games?

0-4 on the numpad slows down the game, guess it's a leftover dev thing idk. Kinda fun to mess around with though I suppose. 0 stops time, 1 is normal speed and 2-4 get progressively slower.

Concept and animations are really good. Game needs polish bugfixing and content but the bones are strong.
