Variable 45 is your grade in school. Cheat it to a value of 4 with any save editor or other RPGM cheat tool, which is associated with a D+ (highest I think it can go naturally)

Unfortunately, this is a macOS problem. The fact is that in the latest versions of the OS, support for OpenGL has been removed, so all games made on the rpg maker mv engine will not work in new versions of the mac.

If the new game works, then the problem is in your saving. Unfortunately, it is not clear what this problem depends on. Some people, including me, have old save files working, but not everyone is so lucky.
