There is plenty of members here in F95 that "demand" a perfect game and when they criticize they do it the wrong way, they are overly sensitive about a scene that shouldn't be there or that we are forced to see this or that. Dunno maybe I'm old with my almost 50 years old and don't see the point to point out the minor flaws in such a fierce way lmao. Maybe it is why I only follow games that I really enjoy and ignore the games I don't like and besides those in my sig and this one there are 6 more, so my top 8 is really atm a top 15 hahaha let me change that quickly

I never demanded anything and only asked a couple questions. I don't even think I pointed out a flaw.

The question was to decide whether or not to continue. I never said it was wrong or bad or demanded anything. It was just unexpected based on what I had read and experienced to that point. Now that my questions have been answered I will ignore it. No big deal.

You were rude, yes. The "joke" is at my expense. How is that not rude? It either insults my sensibilities/preferences or it insults my intelligence by posing as a question.

Got it, well I was expecting it because the game have somewhat a "dark" background and for long it was a life struggle from the main chars but was mostly too "bright" for several game days but I still didn't liked to watch it and made the effect/reaction the dev was searching for I guess, that this story isn't all roses and sunflowers lol that some thorns and clouds will appear too. This kind of games are easier to make from the NTR/Corrupt perspective and usually when you follow the NO NTR/Love/Romance perspective issues like those will always appear.

But mostly because before I try a new game I usually silently search about the game a bit specially when they have tags like netorare or netorase or sharing, avoiding major spoilers ofc, read a few (very few like 1 or 2 of each perspective and that give valid arguments) positive and negative reviews (usually avoiding the 1 star ones because most the time is just haters), I always check the tags and warnings in the OP also so rarely I get surprised about the content.

In the case of AlwaysFan mostly I tried to check from other posts and the OP if the NTR/sharing was fully avoidable, checked a few reviews also. It has a few "red flag" tags that made me make sure it was a game for me, tags like Blackmail/Corruption/netorare/prostitution/rape/swinging. But in the Love harem path most or all of them after the research I made I was almost sure it was avoidable or very tame but I knew that I could see a little of the minor ones in my book like blackmail or corruption.

Yes, thank you. I agree with your approach and do the same. In my original post I mentioned having read the dev notes and skimming the thread. I should have looked harder, I guess.

I had an idea about the fact that the game included prostitution (and took place "in a world where crime is at its worst"), but I thought the prositiution scenes would be avoidable (sounded like the sharing/nts route).

I even tried to find the reference I supposedly missed. The other commenter mentioned missing girls in the news. I don't think I made it that far. I searched the code, and the first reference of missing/disappearing people was on day 12. So either I missed something entirely or people are misremembering it having already played through the game. I was only working off info from the dev notes, a few posts via search, and the first seven days.

By the end of day seven, I didn't know the story revolved around a trafficking ring. I am not sure why my question caused such a commotion.

No harm done I hope it is hard on the internet to make sure the intentions of others without looking at their faces lol (sometimes even in real life I think I have to put a sarcasm or joking sign on my forehead so others don't get it wrong lmao) Btw don't get angry at Nadira, in my book it is a nice person and usually I like their posts so their joke was hard to know the intention behind it but I'm almost sure it wasn't from a bad place. Honestly I laughed at it but I knew that wasn't in a trolling way.

If they had also answered my question, I might have picked up on that. Since there was no like jk or actual answer to my question afterwards, I honestly thought they were being rude for the sake of it. My explaining myself seemed to set off a chain of replies that I think misinterpreted my intentions.

I guess I'm just getting old. Never having used social media probably doesn't help.

I don't know if the Dev frequents this site/forum but i would like to congratulate him on the wonderful game, i still havent finished it but i'm doing a Love route for every girl and i'm loving the game and because of that i decided to give the Sharing route a try just to see how different it is and feels and oh boy, i wasn't expecting what i witnessed, i'm not saying it's bad, it's actually good, even though it's not for me, i don't like being Evil or hurting the girls but i tried it anyway and i went with every possible bad decision i could make, didn't care about Emilie feelings at all ( Emilie is such a sweet girl and deserves all the best ), told her to do everything, never consoled her and i just wasnt expecting the result at all, that game over was so sad after everything she went through and how nice she is, so needless to say, i for sure am not continuing that route.

Just gonna enjoy the Love route to the max, and again, really good game dev and i hope your next project is just as good!

Yeah the Dev appears here often since I start following the thread and I'm sure they will be pleased to read your words, dunno if you are doing the harem route or making solo paths for each LI but 1 thing I can tell you, for me it was the best Harem ending in all the harem games I tried so far, enjoyed it a lot.
I'm the same, only did the Love route and even if I was into netorase/netorare/sharing/swinging (which definitely I'm not) I guess I wouldn't had the heart to follow that route because Emilie doesn't deserve such fate or even most of the other LI's.

Gotta say this was an amazing game. I felt like the quiz part was a bit much, even with the answers (which I'm thankful for), going through it a second time is just too much - should've just added a skip button if you'd go as far as putting the answers in the corner. Other than that, I really have no complaints. The Love/Harem path is amazingly sweet in ways I really wasn't expecting. Congratulations and thank you.

If I had to make a wish, it would be that we could have more revenge against a few characters, like destroying Emilie's dad, the abuser boyfriend, and getting revenge against the sisters (if you get angry) cause what they did was seriously fucked up. Also just destroying Emilie's bullies instead of being nice. But that's just food for thought.

Overall, seriously, this was an amazing experience, I thought about just taking a look at it since someone recommended it, but ended up playing through the whole thing instead in one go. Emilie is such a darling character, and truly deserves an award of best wingman in existence. Thanks again.

So I tried this and was already half way zoning out by the bog standard writing and set ups by the time the escort offer came in.

Whatever. Let's see how this game handles whoring out girls.

Then the red flags started popping and by the time the telephone rang I was thinking 'he wouldn't do that... right?'

One bath later and remembering the 'please be nice to me' from the beginning, I took a break and came back the next day.

Well shit, that went places quickly.

So, after starting a multi-parallel playthrough and mapping out the entire thing in the last two weeks, I can only say: this is a more than adequate first work.
I've been around the scene for ten years and I've seen more seasoned developers put in more work to achieve less. You have a good sense for a story, it's pretty standard but the little connections and foreshadowing pull it together quite well. You can actually feel out how the player's decisions play out quite well, animations are solid enough to not be noticeable in most cases and, most importantly, the tone manages to have quite a variety without clashing. There are maybe a few things that could have been fleshed out more, but as it stands, you have a product that is more viable than most games that come out nowadays.

I hope you stay around, because whatever you do next, I'm looking forward to it. You got the potential to be a big name.

Check the gallery it gives hints but for what I remember it has a Love and Blackmail route?!? Honestly I'm not sure but the gallery tabs on each character give "hints" on routes available.

Edit: Iris gallery have 2 tabs, one is Love/Sub and the other Blackmail so I guess it has 3 routes. I only played Love Harem route in this game since the rest doesn't interest me much. Well the solo Love routes may be interesting to follow, maybe someday when I repeat the game.

You have to choose to sleep with Megan to make Nicolas jealous, then when he calls you asking for advice tell him to move on. Back when Jenna wants you to photograph her maid cafe show interest in Carmela and then go upstairs and sex her, don't worry that it makes Jenna sad. Be kind towards Toki or whatever the name of the younger sister is and show all interest in her. Idk if it matters as I only did one playthrough but express interest in Australia girl from your gaming sessions. You end up with the Full House achievement at the end of the game.

Yep that is exactly the little "trick" to get the full house, couldn't say it better I played with URM so was easier for me to see those paths.

Never played and never will netorase/netorare routes even if they treat the LIs well, just not my thing.
Most important this game is completed, this was the dev first project and I bet they are already moving forward to the next game/project, learning from the flaws in this and adding to the positives. So I doubt a big change/rework of the script like that is in the cards and maybe they take your and others advice/suggestions from NTR enjoyers that I saw saying the same into the next game.

I guess the main problem there was the Dev making a character like Emilie so sweet if she was annoying af probably no one would notice how the MC acted towards her in a NTR route .
