Ollane's game was pretty unique in how it was a sandbox event game but with a basically board game/dice roll type interface.

event games are not uncommon, but there are several difficulties that are just part of the style. such as priorities lists or tables and list or table conflicts (one of my modding specialties used to be merging leveled lists and dialogue scripting), whether or not events kick right (unrestricted vs too restricted), probability of events firing (too low vs too high), and bugs when you have events chain that require prerequisite events.

i think they're a LOT harder to make then other types of games like say a scroller or a VN. but it can be done with good planning.

Is it hard to make a game like this? How much time it took to Ollane to make Tomie WGM?

I have no idea how other developers or Ollane developed their game .

For me, my development process is as following:
- Plan: structure how the game is supposed to flow (connect to other events / contents).
- Create events dialogues: write down some prototype dialogues. (Some of the events are not polished during this process)
- Assets for the events: As a programmer, this is one of the most time taken parts. Really want to see how to create one easily.
- Combine them all together: This is farely easy because I have developed all the structures beforehand.
- Repeat.

As an old fan of Ollane, I believe Ollane released his / her game since 0.760 (or I don't know). I am versioning my game as if Ollane's game as well -> mostly playable after 0.7, 0.8. I have versioned down from reg versioning to alpha, and I will raise the version back to reg once I feel game is very playable.

CG is the porn part of the game taken out of it. They are just images and videos for you to watch... like a gallery without actually needing the game.

Hello fans! Thank you for waiting for the next version . I hope you enjoy the most of it! (hopefully all of it) In this version, I focused on implementing multiple minigames that relate to the game and give more immersion to the game.

Following is the changelog:

• Version naming back to alpha -> Need more solid and complete update from now on.
• Skip dialogue
• Show / Hide text box
• Cafe / Pub / Station minigame implemented
• Character standings are updated.
  • Some dialogues are now with character standing.
• Finalizing Landlord + Loanshark events. -> One branch from landlord is not complete. (Postponed)
• Additional Events:
  • Slum Treasure: (WIP) Stage Event.
  • Fat neighbor visit: Stage Event.
  • Roaming events: Stargram, Volunteer, etc.
  • Follow Event: Drunk Follow
• Hospital implemented
• Station + chikan event implemented.
• AngryHomelessEvent non displayed clip bug fixed.
• Sleep button skipping visit event bug fixed.
• Minor bugs fixed
• Minor assets added

Personally, I feel not enough with the current updated version because it took more time but not enough contents. I feel like I push myself too much along with my other life, but I don't want to discontinue the project.

From now on, I have to tell you that update schedule will be irregular, but I will try to stay within 2-4 weeks still. However, I really appreciate all for enjoying the game! Please leave any feedback if you have any other opinions!

Current version does not include Android version, but I found out there is something called bluestack? Android emulator? Or whatever. I hope that thing emulates the game perfectly. From 0.5.xalpha, I will update android version as well .

P.S. I won't be posting this version on f95zone, but if anyone wants to update, I don't mind doing so. I just feel like it's not ready for criticism... for I now know that the game is empty... .

The reputation stat seems weird to me - on one hand it seems to represent how well known you are (as for why gram and being a "party girl" increases it), but it also represents what you are known for (because "whore" gives negative reputation). Being an avid party goer and being loose don't seem like things that should be opposites, in fact they sound like something that should go pretty well together.

What some other games (for example Degrees of Lewdity) do is have separate social fame and sexual fame (it has even more specific ones but these 2 would be enough). Socializing with people increases the first, sexual increases the second. This way, socializing does not necessarily make you less known as a slut, but being a known slut may make it harder to socialize as some people might not want to interact with you. Both could slowly fade over time.

Is the gallery bugged? i got almost all scenes and tried the bad ending everytime i click the gallery on the title menu it's just empty
