Yeah, I was referring to the game Cyberpunk, not just the genre. Not just the PC/Console game, the original RPG works as well. Note that people are not modified here, and while somewhat dystopian (like our real world), this game doesn't rise to the level of dystopia that the Cyberpunk genre would demand.

I don't mind visual appeal, but if we really want to be challenged about the nature of what being "human" is, we need to be confronted by Artemis becoming more and more "alive," both visually and mentally, and certainly emotionally. Seeing Kindra and MC dealing with the technical issues adds dissonance to that. Person vs. Machine, viscerally. This is gonna be a great ride.
I see (after a quick search), nope never played it nor the tabletop/rpg game, MTGA and master duel YGO free games on steam are enough tabletop for me, here in Portugal where I live (far from big cities) is really hard to find nerds like me that enjoy MTG or a rpg "live" game.

Got it, less curious about it now, for me since I'm a "old" guy the main references of cyberpunk are Blade Runner, Akira and Ghost in the shell, of course the original movies (no idea about the manga because never had patience for it), not the remakes even though they not bad they don't live on the same level than the original ones.

I agree gonna be a great ride, even more if Digi.B have some good references in the genre but still makes something somewhat original, there is so many stuff already that is really hard to come by with something really original.

Always wanted to go to Portugal for the food and wine, never made it there. There's a really great board game convention every year, though.

Yep we are great in those 2 aspects hehe rich gastronomy and confectionary (think that is the word in English for doçaria). I live near to one of the great wine regions, Dão wine region, so of course I'm a wine lover but with my age mostly while pleasurably eating hehe.

Yeah those conventions happen often In Lisbon or Porto, Porto is near but still doubt you saw me there, don't really enjoy that much crowded events nowadays, just want peace and quiet hehe, but if I lived in one of those cities probably would go anyway hahaha.

pitao; Check " Alita Battleangel" out , it is really good and you might like.
Yes already searched about it, 2019 movie, well looking at the pictures on IMDB the movie is somewhat familiar and who the director is and who wrote it I probably watched it once and put it on okayish kind of indifferent in my mind and never though about it again hahaha I already checked and its not on my pirated sci-fi movies folder . Probably if I had worse references in the genre I would enjoy it more but human nature kicked in and we always end up comparing, I just don't have the habit to remember things I enjoyed less, prefer to focus on what I really like.

I may give it another shot one of this days and watch it (again I guess).

Why does the fact that Artemis can carry a child feel like dark foreshadowing to me? Like a LI suffering irreparable damage at some point and having to rely upon Artemis to cary on her legacy.

What do you mean? Do you expect Artemis to be able to generate screws and bolts in her belly? I think I misunderstood what you meant.

Artemis can develop/grow an embryo in her whomb and give birth, But she can't get impregnated trough normal sexual interaction, it has to be fertilized in vitro and then put inside her.
