How fast time flies! It feels like I just posted a dev log yesterday, and now it's time for another one.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome! I hope you’ve all had an amazing month!
Today, there won’t be much text (as is usually the case)...
First of all, to everyone asking what happened to me — everything is fine.
I just took a step back from the internet for a while and fully immersed myself in work.
I noticed that I was starting to slack off, so until version 0.2 is ready, I’ll be inactive on Discord and other platforms. (Sorry about that.)
Now, about the game itself — like I said, I’ve been working, and I’ve made progress! (Though, if you count the fact that I rewrote half of the text again, the word count dropped from 23k to 16k.)
On the other hand, I’m finally confident in my dialogues. (I wasn’t before.)
I also adjusted the pacing — though some might feel it got worse. (I simply slowed the story down but added more details.)
Overall, I think it's a decent compromise. But only time will tell whether it was the right choice or not.
As for the visuals — everything is going well, as usual. The quality is improving, and I’m happy with that. You can check out the Sneak Peek to see how things are coming along.
Now, let’s move on to results and numbers.
Renders – 80% (Current count: 1100 renders)
Words – 70% (Current count: 16k words)
Music – 0%
Code – 50% (Current count: 3k lines of code)
The plan was to have a test game done by the end of the month, so overall, things are going smoothly.
