Tried everything from Lyia to Lya, Lia, but nothing worked, unless she is coded under another prefix...

Download File Manager Plus App and run the game through it. Choose your browser when it asks you. It runs perfectly fine.
You can also play the online version on mopoga.com.

Maybe someone already answered to this and I missed it, but are there plans for Sandbox mode to be more than what it is now? Cause at the moment it's basically just an annoying replay room mode, since you need to unlock the content in the story mode for it to be available.

Why even waste your time working on the mode, if it cannot be used to explored stuff players missed in the story mode?

The sandbox mode will be updated in the future with exclusive content not available in story mode.
As for the current content, yes, that's how it works, and it's explained on the screen before you enter that mode. It's a replay event/scenes mode with new chars who will also have content added in the future.
