Is my playthrough wasted for good if I didn't pick civilized at the start or will there be other ways to get points in the future?
You can now visit Lady Elaria in her chambers (Pontheugh hex - need to have met her first time) after getting stealth training with Aurora (Ulrika's place during the day) to earn a civilized point. But still best to always choose one civilized point in the intro.

You need to have a free worker. Then a button saying "Create new horde" will appear on the army management screen.
Initially, the extra population worker is assigned to farming. So unassign it or unassign some other worker somewhere to create a second horde.

First quest. Start it by praying for S'Teem at the praying runes with Shangria in the village then follow instructions from the quests screen.

Yes it is.
Get training with Ragna at the armory after your first (lost) fight with her. Then you will beat her when you go back.
You have to propose a marriage, sent a scout there to negotiate a dowry, summon the village council (Chief's tent) and reach at least level 2 civilized and 11 in village prestige before being able to marry her.
