Not sure what's going on with both of you then. I was just outside the arena and no one even acknowledged me. I finally walked toward the ship and he responded and it popped up to ask to return. That's how I found out how to get back. So you must have a bug. I didn't have any issue like that.

if u hold weapon in ur hand and they see u they will attack and chase u nonstop, sometime bug game, they attack u with no reason when u're still in prison and continue attack u when u leave, just let them defeat, return prison and win 3 times again lol

My weapon was always holstered, yet they attaked me non stop. This shit is broken. Waiting for the next patch.
i thought the same but are you sure you didnt fail a contract and are in debt? that was the case for me several times when i hit that problem....frustrating tbh
How do you make progress from tier 1 quests? I did the anglerox quest multiple times but nothing new is avalible yet.

So that's the case, why they going aggro on me? Then how i am going to earn some money?
You have to do one specific quest, which will unlock the next tier. In the first rank it's destroying the nest, which will unlock an "emergency request" to beat a boss enemy. After you clear that you'll get access to tier 2 quests. There's the same basic thing to go to tier 3, just with krakens.

so the game has a long way to goIf the developer does not abandon this project.
And manage to add more quests, enemies, maybe even more maps and animations.
Figure out how to improve the combat system, the inventory, and a few more annoying bugs.
Then this might be one of the best game on this site.
This game have potential, only question is does the dev or devs can work on it long enough to make a finished product.

is there a way to reduce the difficulty? I borrowed money and lost everything in the first 10 minutes. No more money, no clothes and no way to earn money in the first experience level.

Tbh id be happy if some form of "savepoint" would be available so i could have a "restart"-point where i did most of the first grind and can go check and see what else is there without allways beeing anxious of messing it up again....at one point i messed up, became arena-slave and then coz of this i failed a contract and if i go out now i will end up in the arena again coz of the slavers guild hunting me...i know i managed to escape this BS-Situation once but forgot how i did it....will try to manage that trick once again coz i saw ppl having similar/same problem...
could be better to have multiple saves instead of one too....but allrite...i might report back if i manage to escape fucked up situation with arena ....probably some "get back to starter town from arena"-thing or just make it so a contract is unsigned if you end up in the arena would be good for comfort....if its possible to suffer through enough of the arena to get back, then fine...i will try.

This game is a bit weird about buying / crafting weapons and armor. You can't have any weapon or three armor pieces in your inventory to buy / craft that item. So you need to go to the storage box, drop individual items from your inventory, then buy / craft. To equip you need you be in the character screen, not the inventory screen. it's the U key, or tab from the inventory.
Seems obvious, but do you have the resources and money? All crafting needs some specific resources and some money, like 12 bamboo fiber and a few iron ore for the exhibitionist armor IIRC.

Jesus fuck man, i was doing so great, and now im stuck in loop of getting into more debt in the arena while randomly being attacked by the guy who equips me, and when i manage to savescum enough power, im inexplicably thrown into the machine to pull all the power off me, not to mention increasing debt that accumulates and makes the jailor try to capture me and get me in more debt.
fuck it all to hell, and also screw that fucking shitty save system in the game.
edit: it seems my emotions got better of me, so to put this comment on the right track: Fuck getting stunlocked by three guards in arena when you start with 1hp and 1 energy after rest by being shoved in the dildo machine.
edit2: so if anyone gets in my position, the correct procedure is to: run away from jailor, go outside, press back to menu every time you get an enemy that can grab you and have sex with you, from then on, do not sleep, jump outside, and wait until you get killed enough to get the fuck outta there, realize that the counter for "fights until freedom" goes to nothing, and still be unable to get outta there.
how the fuck am I supposed to leave?! nevermind, you have to win a fight with that 1hp and some energy and hope they don't stunlock you in the armory before you even get to fight the zeroth arena fight.
