And I think the money he "borrowed" was for the shrooms at the bbq correct or for his weed habit?
Most definitely NOT. Tommy called the DIK code to hide the reasons for him to borrowing money, so he is ashamed/afraid of others finding out what that money is for.

He is not ashamed of being a fucking addict, he wouldn't hide that he is using the money for drugs. It's probably something sentimental, something that Tommy would classify as 'gay'.

Unless he's ashamed that he doesn't have enough money to buy the weed all the time. It can become a pretty pricy habit.

I might be asking a kinda weird question, but I'm curious to know if anyone has a feeling of weird nostalgia while playing the game?
For me not really. I'm from the Netherlands and over here frats aren't that big of a thing. The only "nostalgia" I might have for it is that I do love the movies it's inspired by.

Wait a minute, why wouldn't he be afraid of people finding out he is an addict? Just because he was admitting it to Nick (which we all know now, everybody loves dumping his secrets on.)

He might not be afraid everyone knowing he is an addict, but maybe someone specifically like Josy learning that since it could end up reaching his mother or stepfather and didn't he admitted in like EP 3 and Josy mentioned how one time he got in real troube for trying to inhale Josy nail paint?

He would own it. Especially because he has been only borrowing, which means that each dime he took, he also gave it back. It needs to be something that would shatter his image.

We don't know that though. Yes, he's been borrowing, but we don't know if he's already paid it back. We learned especially in season 3 that Rusty usually quite a wuss when it really comes down to it.
Yes, he would own most stuff, but being poor is something even most honorable (for lack of a better word) people are often dishonest about.

Yes and no. It reminds me of some stuff I did on uni and also of old movies like American Pie, it's weird as fuck.
I also had some interesting moments at uni, but life was quite ordinary. Although, maybe it's not a feeling of nostalgia, but a feeling of missing something. Maybe both. I dunno. I haven't watched these movies, lol. I should check it out.

Yeah, same. We don't even have any

Dude, Tommy smokes pot and talks about smoking pot in every party he goes, IN THE OPEN, he only don't smoke around campus because it's against the law. He doesn't care if other thinks he is a scumbag and all negative stuff possible. He doesn't care that the dormies tried to say that he had STDs, he don't care about his dick being all around the campus.

He is pretty similar to Lily and Quinn in this regards, he does not care about others seeing him negatively. He would actually own it and dismiss it. And most importantly, it's that he is trying to hide it from the DIKs themselves, why would he try to hide it from the DIKs? They are the ones that know the most about how much of a crackhead Tommy is, why would he care?

Then it's going to feel like a cop-out. Never once in the game has Tommy show anything egarding sentimentaly for something (The memorabilia wall doesn't count since it was only there for the stupid vixens revenge plot). The only thing he has shown is him having an addiction problem like no other to the point that he had to bite his tongue swallow his huge ass ego and go buy from the guy he hates the most in order to quench his addiction.

I might be asking kinda weird question, but I'm curious to know if anyone has a feeling of weird nostalgia while playing the game?
You have no idea. I’ve discussed this in this thread before, but I know so many of these characters in real life. Maya, Sage, Quinn, and Nicole/Lily all have traits from my exes, for example. I’ve hung out with girls like Riona. I really don’t resemble MC in too many ways, but I’ve been through a lot of crazy stuff. :ROFLMAO:;)

I'm really happy for you, by the way. It's good that you have something to remember. This is the first game that sobered me up a bit and helped me look at things from a different angle, no matter how funny it may sound.

Which parts of the game do you connect with? Sorry, btw, if I misunderstood the angle you are coming from. Trust me, this game brings a lot of bad memories up as well as good ones.

It's Tommy we are talking about, not Rusty. For me Tommy wouldn't care if something that is shameful or negative for others is being associated to him, like him having STDs, him being poor, him being an asshole etc Every single one of these he would dismiss and ignore, it does not bother him nor does it hit him.

But being sentimental? Being less of a raging asshole? Maybe being seen as someone vulnerable and/or caring? He would hate it. He hated it during the whole game when the MC tried being considerate of his feelings, always saying that "He don't need to care for his fucking feelings so much". That's basically the only thing I can see Tommy being ashamed of being... being more human, just like Quinn and just like Lily.
