Honestly, the endless duplicate posts from people using mods since the update went out actually makes me understand DPC's rationale to put in the kill command more than ever.

Imagine having to deal with these people posting endless bug reports that were in fact caused by their mods as being problems caused by the game.

Personally I don't see why they use mods except to cheat, I stopped using mods years ago after all the bollocks on the saves being screwed up and having to start the game over again for all my routes, and the main reason for using the mods for me in the first place was for the mini games, so I found a simple solution to that, play with mini games turned off.

Simply to make it easier on themselves. If it wasn't for that, there'd be a lot less demand for mods. For this game, for instance, you can view tasks in a couple of clicks by using the phone, or a mod could have them on display for you at all times. You can have a mod to point out when there's money or a special render on screen. A mod can give you more information on options, to help you pick which of two (or more) choices to make, etc.

Mods are good everywhere else, but not in Being a Dik lol and like someone said I don’t blame DPC hating on mods due to countless of people coming on here and saying “omg this don’t work” “bad developer” “game don’t work”

In terms of BaDik, the mod makes it easier to ace the minigame, find hidden renders, get on certain routes, make freeroams a piece of piss. Most of which you can get from a walkthrough. It's more just ease and quality of life stuff.

yeah but then it breaks for the next update and you also have to rely on the modder to be active.

Also not doing the whole delete impacted saves and then get saves from the thread (DIK sage save blocks you out of the ILY path due to receiving handy from Jade)

Just open the walkthrough and then open the solutions that some of us posted here and viola it works

How the hell do you get a piece of piss I mean maybe if you freeze it?

Oh don't get me wrong, Im not advocating the use of mods in any case, but I can see why people use them.

The complaints most have a trivial anyway. Minigames only need to be played on one route and only if you care about unlocking everything. Freeroams become a piece of piss anyway after doing them a few times. Other than recently with a late Jade burn, the routes were easy anyway. It's not exactly a complicated game...

That's where you use the URM mod, which doesn't bork your saves, to remove the Jade variable. And the benefit of a mod over a walkthrough is that it's in game, you don't have to open a separate document. So again, it comes down to what's easy for the end user.

I use the URM but use the walkthrough as a foresight, usually I skip scenes if I am not in that route or have seen it.

Like with the Jill path, I used the fuckbuddy route to Sage and fucked Josy

Decided to join in on the current Ghibli craze and to be honest some of these turned out pretty good :Kappa:
