No need to get offended brother it was just a joke. I just found that suprising that she still has this many fans(i.e more than sage) and I'm not a maya hater not a maya superfan but a maya fan so I'm hoping we get some better content with her in future.

I wasn't offended by that in any way, I got the joke, just thought I could explain, since the topic was already mentioned several times recently. It really seems that a lot of people hate Maya, and I can't deny that. But seems in the big picture they are the vocal minority.

I love how the songs DPC uses for lewd scenes differs depending on the girl. Thinking a little bit more about the Maya/Josy situation (yes, imagine thinking this much about a porn game) and why that really soured those two characters for me, I think it has less to do with the prior actions of "betrayal" or "lies" or whatever, and more so the options given at the end of the episode. Absolutely none of the options provided at the end hit or were satisfying whatsoever for me. For example, on the Dik path, you have two options.
A: Get rejected by both of them
B: Partially reject them before they get the chance to reject you
On the Chick side, things aren't much better either, you have
A: Partially reject them
B: Become a third wheel in a love triangle
None of these options appeal to me whatsoever and I think that's the reason why I don't really like either character anymore. The love triangle shit just doesn't do anything for me, perhaps that's different for others, but seeing as that's the only option to get either one of them right now, I do hope that gets resolved in a satisfying way. So I think the main reason why these two characters are soured is because of the lack of any satisfying option for the majority of people. At least 3 of the 4 are "bad" options and unless you're into the love triangle shit, all of them aren't satisfying options.

I believe the point where the story ends for now is just the start of the growth just after the lowest point in the beginning and middle of episode 4. Essentially I think if you pick the triangle option, in future updates you can grow into it's centerpiece instead of the third wheel.
As for remaining friends with them, there was an interesting theory by Mechaforce that their relationship without you will eventually end and you'll be able to pick one or both girls separately, If you'd so like.
The story might be different, but the author is still trying to make a sensible story. And cheating, which has been a big deal in AL, is still very much a serious issue in this game. In fact, the issues of every single LI besides Jill include cheating.
Hell, the whole reason we were first involved with Sage was so that she could uncover proofs of Chad cheating. She even had binoculars to spy on him! If we ever become her boyfriend, I highly doubt MC will be able to get away with bedding every girl he comes across and expect her to be cool with it, don't you think so? Otherwise, her integrity and character consistency will turn out to be non-existent and make her look worse in retrospect.
This is why being unable to fuck every girl and ultimately having to make tough choices is, in my opinion, inevitable. In fact, it's already happening. To be able to fuck Jade, you need to either break up or be rejected by Josy and Maya. All the same, this wouldn't mean BADIK is the same game. It has set itself apart with the different setting, characters and mechanics. Having a similarity that is ultimately all about realism and character consistency won't ruin the author's creativity.
