If she even gets the MC involved last time she called for help MC sent her straight to VM, which would make her question his reliability. She then sees what they did to Riona, which was a slight eye opener to what happens to people who don't belong in that world,before going on to distance herself from MC telling him she doeznt want him in that world.
The games not exactly set up to have the MC come in like a knight in shing armour, nor does he need to be, not every story needs resolving with the MCs input

I got a clean install (version v.0.11.1) that I use now in combo with the scrappy mod and I used the SaveFixer from Sancho.
This got the game running without any crashes so far.

Its a mod but it is non intrusive and you will never get the crashes. Remember you can use sancho as much as you like s1 and 2 the endsaves work different than normal saves that is why you can import them into a clean ep9 s3. You don't need the save fix. Any saves after that tho with mods will crash each episode. I did a lot of sancho quick runs and then in ep9 using urm.
