I agree MC is a real piece of shit in Sage and Jill path. Especially in Jill path I won't repeat what you said above about parents and virginity. Jill isn’t real. If that happens then it’s decided by the player. It’s all drama meant to be entertainment.
Why would he hate this character that he himself created? Most authors tend to have a great deal of affinity for their characters. Since they made them they understand all of their motivations and usually even have a soft spot for their villains as well.
