I actually don't know what consider minigame and what mandatory. I play with them ON everytime. I like that house repair stuff, party planer, fishtank and beer pong. is any of this disable if you off minigames?

Tennis, MMA, party planner, fish tank and Beer pong are still in the game, but extremely simplified. Party planner is just choosing 3 events and with beer pong you don't have to worry about AP. I don't know what's the difference is with fish tank, never did it with minigames on. All other minigames (so far) are disabled.

Even the optional minigames in your phone are turned off.

I don't think it is. there too many branches on other path. I believe best way is take ep8 finished save with others and just import it and work your way from there starting ep9
