Basically, he wrote a complete game in just over 1 year. This one has been in dev for 5 years and not even at the same place as the original. If Silver were to come back to this game, and resume where he dropped off, it would be an instant success (I mean I would start playing it again).

TLDR, Stealing does not really apply here, since the original dev is not continuing on the game and people supporting this game are fools. Let them throw away their money.

Looking from a Dev's perspective, continuing on someone else's game... not something I would do, but I really liked the original, and the original actually had some closure and did not end on a cliffhanger, I was interested to see how someone else could take the story forwards with our favourite characters.

I mean all the hard work is already done for him - The character types are already established - Kira - Wild Aunt, Ann - Strict Milf, Alice - Rebel Tsundere older sister, Lisa - Naive but curios younger sister and lastly our already resolved Antagonist and optional NTR actor - Eric.

Everything is basically already done. The story is ready for a blank slate to continue with everything already established and setup. But yes... they fuck it up. So yes, I'm disappointed, but not heartbroken.

The comic has had periodic updates.

is there anything new, I mean, have they progressed passed the original game or are they still messing around with little side tweeks and stuff? Not hugely interested in the game but one day I might give it a shot so just curious

If i had 50.000 euro/dollar.. a team of say 1 coder 1 render/graphic guy. i could just direct them had some early money to pay them... I would easily milk it on Patreon and deliver at same time. I mean seriously Storywriting when most characters are already written, i can just copypaste the writings from the original and let them graphic guys and go from there once the graphic guys are done delivering the images etc to catch up...

Heck while the 2 graphic guys are doing the rendering etc to replace the orginal stuff i could figure out the story and write characters response, plan for more characters and then let them do the work once the original shit is in place.
Its a big suprise why not 2-3 people 1 coder 1 graphic guy and 1 writer got togheter from the fans
and stone the shit and make of with ton of money...

to put it blunt if last real update was a 0.008

and reading 0.007

Eric just arrived.

In the orginal i remember getting rid of eric and more before game got abandoned...
And 0.008 doesn mention get rid of him or any of the other either since the re-work on this one..

It's pretty impressive that this remake that is still only catching up is releasing slower than the original game did when it was actually making new stuff.
