I got a problem when I load a saved game a blue screen displays. When I start a new game a black screen is displayed. And this is with big brother 0.13.0.007 and the skunked version also.
Check too make sure ALL the manual saves line up Save0,1,2,3,4, etc. As that can sometimes cause this. If that doesn't work the save may be corrupted. Or just simply back up all the saves, Uninstall/delete BB. Then reinstall it.
Try full screen mode or if you insist on window mode, Set the graphic size according too your monitor size.Hello everyone,

There's missing images. download the CG Rip and paste all the images in the folder replacing all the ones already there. If it's a mod, Go too the mod page and do the same. Relaunch the game. No more white screen.
I have the same problem with black screen, but from the very beginning. Since I have no save file.

I tried several settings. Size down do 1024x768 up to the 2880x1800, windowed or full screen. No change.

I don't know if this is your problem, but it has been mentioned before, if you downloaded the version directly from Patreon - the unCracked version - and you try to mount Ikarumod's mod, things like this happen.I tried several settings. Going by the description of the problem, it's definitely a mod. Don't know which one, but like Zeusminnie says above, it's missing images.
Basically, you didn't download all the required images for the mod, so go back to that mod's thread and follow the install instructions again.

Copy the saves from the older version, and paste them into the new version's save folder.
For safety sake, make sure that you start a new game on the newer version, save once and exit the game. Then copy the older saves into the newer one, and overwrite the freshly made save.
Sometimes transferring saves doesn't always work as it should, and the game doesn't always register them older version saves, and what I wrote above is the way round that issue.

We don't really know, it all depends on when they can be in a position to once again continue BB without Patreon, whilst still doing their new game - Glamour.
I doubt it will be years, simply because they'd announce it as being abandoned, and so far they've only indicated that they'll be continuing it in the future.

That's the only realistic way I see BB ever being finished, sadly. It's still among the best of the genre for me but there are several contenders and countless newcomers, so they better not wait too long to decide.
Yeah, there's a growing number of incest games out there, or ones gaining new prominence that are following well in BB's footsteps, or forging their own path. The longer DS takes in bringing BB back, the more other games will steal their momentum. I still think BB was the best out there, although also heavily flawed. But the biggest flaw is that it's being left to die.
I used to have that problem too. There are solutions somewhere in this thread, but I forget where :/ Short answer is try Wine STAGE. I was using Wine Devel, but when I downloaded and used Wine Stage, it worked perfectly.Hello everyone,
