Easter and Xmas are standalones, no patch needed, just extract and play it.
Phase 1 & 2 extract --> extract the patch --> copy and paste the game folder (from the patch) into Phase 1 & 2 main folder --> play.
Patch works for Phase 1 & 2

I think so, it doesn't hurt to try and see if you can. if it doesn't work, download the normal episode 2 even though I played like that.

Nah . Not possible. But there is an optional quiz at the start of season 2 to define some variables from season 1

cause it wouldnt been the first time that I play an unfinished game that took months or even a year to get the next update or to get abandoned so I rather wait until its finished than have to wait until the next update
