= You....you should. I have played 100+ AVNs and I have only rated ONE other AVN in this exact fashion with these exact words. The dev has cooked something for which we ARE NOT ready for.

On surface, the game is about a group of counselors blowing steam off after camp ends and it's about exploration of their naughty side. BUT IT'S SO MUCH MORE...
Even tho the game is very lighthearted at the core, it doesn't shy away from hinting at deep concepts related to self image, repression, and regrets.

I am a proud handholding, pat-giving, hug seeking fucko that will refuse to play games that only offer porn and no coherent plot or authentic characters. If I want porn I can just go to the orange site or some place....no...I'm not reading it to empty my balls but to rather fill my heart. Even tho the game is very heavy on sex and Kink exploration, it's done in such a perfect fashion that it doesn't even come off as porn...it comes off as genuine and authentic story about people coming to terms with what they want and who they are. It doesn't have a crazy plot since it's lighthearted but there is a plot and it ties so well with the H scenes that I just want to hug this game for making me feel good.

Warning:
Not everyone is jumping on MCs dick and not everyone is a virgin waiting just for MC to defile them......AND this is what makes the game realistic. So if you are offended by girls talking about their past experiences or seeing those scenes, then you might not enjoy it. Game is NOT about you, it's about Kink exploration of camp counselors and you are a part of it rather than being the whole.

Pros: HAND-FUCKING-DRAWN art that's unique and original (art style really grows on you), sound effects and music are like fine selection of caviar, WRITING IS ABSOLUTE GOLD (one of the most quirky and extremely witty pieces of humor), animations are decent, and characters are deep.

Cons: NONE.

Verdict: Abso-fucking-lutely pick this up now!!

Ever thought a dish might not taste good cuz of how it looked but once you got the taste you couldn't believe how good it was.....that's this game. Not convinced? Ok...how about ever come across a game (pun intended) that has jokes about about mosquitoes getting herpes, possibility of a wet nightmare, smelling the logs that would be burned for sauna, jedi nip trick, bowling ball with three holes and simping after the weather savior of our generation?? The setup and delivery of these jokes put this game on next level.

Easily some of the best writing on this site. Genuinely funny. All killer no filler. If you're reading this and haven't tried the game out, here's your call to action: go download the game right now.

The visuals in the thumbnails might seem off-putting, but give it a chance. It brings something new to the table, and might surprise you with how hot it ends up being when you're actually playing it.

Ideally I wish I had a little more control over the narrative besides skipping events, but I'll take a well told linear story over a half-baked branching narrative any day. Also the "game over" sequence when you choose an obviously "wrong" choice is pretty funny. Hope we get real Valentina content at some point.

The best VN I have ever played on F95, by far. Great writing and excellent renders. Merit and Hayden are my favorites! I wonder what will happen after Day 5? Do they all go home and start a new path? Keep up the good work!

Excellent writing and story. There are very few peers when it comes to the amount of thought and talent that has gone into this game.

Graphics are quirky. I like them not they wouldn't be everyone's preference.

A diamond in the rough.

Camp Klondike isn't your standard AVN. It's a kinetic novel with only minor choices, and while the 2d graphics have a retro-charm once you get used to them, the game lives and dies on its story and writing.

Luckily for us, those are fantastic. Klondike exploits it setting - a group of horny 19 year olds taking the chance to run wild away from home and prying eyes - for all it's worth. The game particularly shines when it's ramping up the sexual tension, with the characters egging each other (and the player) on. There are no filler scenes or random subplots, and the main plot keeps moving forward the whole time. As for the sex, it's kink heavy, but in a realistic, fun way, and made much better by the buildup and aftermath.

If you're mostly here for visuals, then Klondike isn't for you. Otherwise, give it a shot.

This is a beautiful gem of a game. The character writing is second to none, and there is a surprising amount of soul waiting to touch your heart. Give yourself some time, bring an open headspace, and you will be rewarded with a deliciously hot experience.

Mostly the game reads as a visual novel, occasionally using choices that dare you to be honest. The sexy scenes are the best portrayals of Safe, Sane, and Consensual that I've ever seen in an AVN. Which is NOT to say this game is vanilla . Honestly it makes it even better. The setting -camp counselors with a week of freedom- is a better premise than most reality television.

Much has been written about the non-standard art style, but I can say for my own taste it is fantastic. I find that a fresh take often enhances the imagination and frees me to immerse more fully into the fantasy. The exception might be if it was so jarringly mis-proportioned so as to be distracting, but that is not the case here. The T's are hot, the A's are tight, and the faces get the point across.

In sum: playing Camp Klondike is a little like strolling into a neighborhood diner for some mouth fuel, then getting your palette blown the fuck away by a plate of food so hard it leaves you lingering there staring at the plate in wistful thought.

I highly highly recommend surrendering to this enticing story and letting your inner wolf out for a ride.

update: of all the games I have played on this server, this is the one I think about the most.

The ONLY criticism you could make of this game is the art quality. In my opinion, however, the art style, writing quality, and overall execution far outweigh any art issues. The game is fantastic, and I'm shocked it's not more popular.

Easily one of the better VNs I've ever played, and I'm glad it's no longer abandoned. The writing is top notch, especially when it comes to the smut. If you like build-up and kinkiness, then you need to play Camp Klondine now. It's also pretty funny at times and I've had more than a few chuckles when it comes to some of the gags.

The use of audio is really good too. Whilst the music is pretty basic, the use of smack sounds and moans is very well done and adds a lot to the sex scenes present in the game.

The art isn't for everyone, and I'm admittedly 50/50 on it, but I can appreciate it. It sort of reminds me of low budget kids cartoons, and that fits the somewhat youthful and playful tone the writing has. That being said, it's not the most arousing visuals and I doubt I'd enjoy the game if it wasn't for the great writing and audio.

My only complaint is the game is absolutely linear. It's no deal breaker for me, but considering how many women there are in the game, it'd be nice to have multiple paths involving at least some of them.

Probably the best writing of any VN that I've ever played.

The graphics won't be to everyone's taste, but are fine enough to support the story. The dialog captures the personalities, their histories, and development as they make (and confess) sensual and erotic discoveries incredibly well.

I downloaded this game because Dev seems super kind and is very grateful for any support and that made me happy.

The art is so unique and it reminds me of something that I can't quite put my finger on? (ayy, lmao) I liked it.

My issue is with the lack of choices. I ran into like, 5 game over screens for making the 'wrong' choices and I'm super curious why they're even in the game in the first place if you can't pick them? Then, in other instances, you're only given a single choice. Is this a kinetic novel? I'm confused. It was honestly frustrating.

I liked the game, and the Dev is super nice but I want actual choice not the illusion of it.

Compared to most "games" on this site Camp Klondike is a masterpiece.

It is very well done. The writing, story, characters, sound effects, and visuals all work perfectly together to create a visually stunning story.

The art looks kind of odd when you see stills from the game, but in game it looks great and a lot of time and energy has gone into motion and visual effects. It is wonderful to watch as there are just so many visually interesting things happening.

There is so much emphasis on visual motion that I think Camp Klondike feels more like an animated televison show than a visual novel. Many times I closed the text box just to watch the scene play out... just to appreciate the movement and motion.

It is a bummer that this has been put on hold.

I am always surprised at how many adult games are cookie cutter. It seems to me that there should be more content creators trying to do interesting and unique projects. There are some, obviously, but not enough. I am glad I decided to visit Camp Klondike. It was a trip I won't forget.

Nothing in this that pushing my sex drive at all. If you are looking for a story but not sex it might wet your whistle, but even then I found it overbearing and cumbersome.

I got nothing whatsoever off of the drawn sexual images. I give two stars because the writing isn't terrible, however it's not great either.

If you are looking for a game that's sexy, this is not it.

Great game. Single one which left something else in my brain except traces of polygon breasts and overly perfect "barbie" faces. It was really an experience and I genuinly had the feeling to be able to view something great while playing. It was like a movie. Nice usage of the elements a video game enables you to do.

E.g. the scene at the campfire where you could select people. It was like, each character is interesting. All where liked. People where so normal with their issues. People actually where distrusting you. You could decide who you are, but yet, there was a scripted character range. Whoring around is part of the game, yet it is different than in other ones I played. Maybe it is the setting: A limited, yet interesting environment. Characters even behave differently in everyday life (e.g., how they react to you when they see you approaching their shack. Immersion +++! This game is like a 97, havent seen another one really close to 90 before. Time spent on like creating the best butt models and stuff could be maybe invested in doing sth else entirely or really creating original ideas.

I mean, sry for the rant, how much sameness is there among the people in all these games on this forum? They are so boring. Wouldn't even date them in real life. Here, even the "rich bitch" receives depth. Thats how humanity could be, folks!

Very innovative art style and a compelling story line. Feels more like a real story than most games. Lots of realistic situations and normal reactions from the characters, not just the mc running around f-ing everything that moves. Hope the writer finishes it up, as it is one of the most original games on this site.

I really like this one. Hope there will be a continuation. I really enjoy it much more than some of the others that may "look better". There is lots of quality, tension building and anticipation. I guess I have a soft spot for voyeur theme and there is some of that too that I much enjoyed. Great work. Hope to see it continue.

I really admire artists such as swimsoot. They are obviously very talented, but I feel that writing a great story like Camp Klondike must take much more than just talent. I imagine it takes an immense amount of courage to put something so honest, so true out there. One needs to have a whole lot of confidence to create with such sincerity and intelligence; one must have faith in themselves and in their audience, to be able to strip away and at the same time consummate artifice, to approximate life while transcending it.

There is much to love about Camp Klondike, a creation that really works in so many levels. The art is unique and effectively matches the story settings, it is efficient and yet beautiful. I think it's fantastic how the artist was able to convey complex emotions and tell so much about the characters through their facial expressions. Many of the characters have this extraordinary and multifaceted personality, and sometimes subvert our expectations in delightful ways. And at the same time, the author also gives room for your imagination to enrich the story, and this is what transforms it into something personal and makes it feel real.

The author has show a great deal of depth and range in their storytelling. Writing with exquisite pacing and showing an incredible talent to stage engaging exchanges between the characters, they have created a tale in which it is very easy to immerse yourself. Some of the scenes depicted here are intensely erotic, among the very best out there. The writing here is so many levels above your average porn game, it's even embarrassing to put the two of them in the same sentence.

While the story still lacks a proper resolution, it also feels oddly complete. Maybe because life is sometimes like this. But don't get me wrong - I am still very much looking forward to see what swimsoot has yet to tell us about Camp Klondike. And if I'm allowed to dream, maybe we can spend a bit more time with my favorite character Schuyler and her luminous, perfect smile.

I discovered this game just when it was put on hold (Night Four - Part Two) and I was genuinely impressed and also deeply sad to see this is not going to be completed anytime soon. Art may be an acquired taste for some people but expressions and close-ups perfectly match the storytelling (those nipple-pinching pics are hot!) so the whole package is just perfect, and that's what matters. Camp Klondike is a 'sexual coming of age' story for a bunch of youngsters in the final week of a summer camp where they worked as counselors, and it really captures the essence of that odd period of our lives: scenes in Klondike are the most erotic ones I've seen in this forum in a long while, with animations, close-ups, writing and building-up making them just perfect. I really hope it's just a temporary pause. A total gem that deserves real praise in almost every aspect.

You need to play this game. You will not understand how good it is until you've played it. I was even on the fence until I made it through the "Cleanup Club" section. That is one of the hottest scenes in any adult game I've ever experienced.
