I unfortunately have to side with the nay-sayers on this one. The art (which is good) gave this game real potential, but it is just too buggy and clumsy in execution to recommend.
It could be fixed, but would need a major interface overhaul to approach anything near its competition (see monster black market as a gold standard). At present, I would consider it more pain than the experience is worth.
My biggest issues include:
- Extremely picky controls that (even when executed correctly) frequently break while the characters path around (they forget what they are doing, or the rooms themselves bug out / become unusable).
- Poorly thought out management elements that are impossible to automate around (rooms must be cleaned frequently but are unusable/impassable while cleaning, including the singular entrance). You also need to wait for the assigned janitor(s) to walk there.
- A notable lack of tutorials combined with an unnecessarily complex interface.
