Also, really, this does seem like way too close to a clone of Rise of Corruption. Wonder if this guy will learn from that one and avoid some of its mistakes...

English isn't my language, and I'm not very good at it, so I'm sorry. As for the game you mentioned, I'm not familiar with it, but if you could give me some tips on how to improve, since it's my first game.

It's a demo, dev at least learned enough English to release the game in English somewhat. I wish I were able to speak another language. Closest I have some understanding of is Spanish and that's not a whole lot. Forgot what most the words were over the years and struggle with sentence structure. And yes, this is very much like the start of Rise of Corruption.

As for faults with Rise of Corruption is quest tracking. If you skim conversations, you have to just run around till you find what you're looking for if you missed a important piece of dialogue. Also it does a piss poor job of updating things you've done.

This has a lot of potential and I can see this being a great game in the vein of the corruption/transformation sub-genre that I am obsessed with.

Characters look good and the maps aren't bad.

I don't want to be overly critical as I understand this is the developers first game and it's only the first release and I know how hard game development can be and how hard it is to put your creative vision out there. That being said I really think you need to work with someone on the translation of the game. The English is very hard to follow at times. I found myself guessing at where to go next because it wasn't clear to me what the next step was.

I wish you the best of luck in development and am happy to bounce ideas and discuss with you if you'd like (this theme is REALLY what I live for!)

Suggestions: Find someone that can help translate it to English as others have mentioned (English can be very hard for people that haven't used it a regular basis), collision boxes need to be looked at as some places it's a bit weird, and introduce a good quest tracker.
Other than the above I look forward to seeing the next update

If getting help is not an option (be it due to monetary restrictions or idk nobody cares enough to help)
I'd suggest using deepl.com as it's far more accurate than the crap Google translate spits out and it sounds more humane (can translate curses and shit)

Now onto more mundane things...
The models look ok-ish (really remind me of rise of corruption which is not bad but would like some more ahem RED AND BLUE COLORS PLEASE... PLEAS STOP WITH THIS PINK STUFFFFFFF IT IS EVERYWHERE... rant over)

The maps (from what I can see) are you're typical rpg maker maps that everyone makes (ain't bad but it ain't no star knightness)

When I get back from work (which is idk when since I'm pulling double duty for a friend... hate em) imma poke around the games insides to find stuff that can be fixed easily (be it collisions, textures or secrets~~) imma in good mood lately and we gotta fix that.

Once I poked some holes i may give some tips for stuff that I know how to and whatnot

Anyway good luck on this and ignore people who complain too much (their brains are spoiled from too much free porn games)

BIG SPOILER the hero kills the protagonist in the end and cures his women... big if true.

This is the game yours seems similar to.

Though notably, that is sort of a problem with RPGmaker in general, as it doesn't tend to track quests well. The Dev for the other game had to make a whole separate system in order to track quest progress that might be worth looking at (not in the current public build of that one btw, and it's still kind of buggy).

Still, I'll check this one out.

I have no problem with making copies of popular games, I even support it because that way you can create a product that is at least at an average level, but for this game, the only reason I won't try it is that the models are super ugly in my eyes, and I'm not talking about shadows and other details. I also work with Koikatsu and some of the girls are just those that are built into the studio, just with changed clothes. I'd like to see a little effort and preparation before starting to make a game.
